Tropical Smoothie Café’s menu boasts bold, flavorful food and smoothies with a healthy appeal. Our food and smoothies are made to order with fresh ingredients. Our smoothies are made from superior simple ingredients including real fruit and natural sugar. 1st try today. I’m thinking anyone who rated this place higher than 3 hasn’t really tried any other smoothy cafes. The mixture is a heavy ice content, low on the other ingredients the taste is bland as a result. No wonder it’s cheaper, it’s mostly ground up ice. Also had the all American wrap. It’s comparable in size and content to the McDonald’s breakfast wrap. But this one is $2.75 more in cost. Yeah. Not impressed. Maybe they were having an off day. I’ll try it again soon and update if it warrants a change in rating.

I actually really like this place. The smoothies are huge and filling. It’s like a days’ worth of food for me. As for the food, it’s also very good. The only complaint I have is that when I order with the app it seems something always happens. Last time I used it they completely forgot about my order and I even waited a good 10 minutes after the app said it would be ready before saying something. I also end up having to announce myself for someone to notice me, even if I am right in front of the register. This time I ordered again through the app and though they were timely, my smoothie tasted completely bland, absolutely not what it is supposed to taste like. I shyly asked for them to remake it, which they did, and this time it just tasted very acidic. I didn’t ask for a new one since I had to leave for work but I was very disappointed. I ordered the island green smoothie which has spinach kale mango, pineapple, banana and ginger. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think I am supposed to taste anything limey/lemony. Even with this experience, the good of this place far outweighs the bad and it will not keep me from going, I’m just feeling annoyed at how badly it was prepared both times. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, or a trainee? Anyway, thanks for reading to whoever does.

Great food (not the highest quality ingredients but way better than most) but the reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because of how much the price fluctuates on their menu. When they first opened a few years ago, the same sandwich and smoothie I always buy was like $3 less expensive. That's not just inflation adjustment folks!

Love the smoothies here. I get one quite often! But the service is pretty slow. I wait a least 15 minutes for my smoothie every time I go.

Every time I have been here there has been great service from the employees and I have never had an order messed up. The food is great quality and the portions are a good size.
