Story

US Post Office-Far Rockaway is a historic post office building located at Far Rockaway in Queens County, New York, United States. It was built in 1935, and is one of six post offices in New York State designed by architect Eric Kebbon as a consultant to the Office of the Supervising Architect. It is a two story brick building with limestone trim and a low granite base in the Colonial Revival style. Its main facade features a centrally placed polygonal shaped frontispiece with a rounded dome inspired by Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. It also has a grand entrance vestibule.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Wish amazon would allow it's customers to select a delivery service, I definitely would not pick usps. 6:32pm Package was left in mailbox....nothing was left. This is the second time this has happened. When I call, I'm 100% sure no one will answer.

These are the worst than animal that working in this Far Rockaway US Post Office. Very rude, a bunch of ignorant, can't read, illiterated, lazy, incompetent, punched their clocks, and went back their nearby homes, hanging out, and come back punched their clocks at the end of the day. There is the massive corruptions at this Far Rockaway Post Office, and desperately needed to be investigated. Every day they delivered someone's else mail into my address, and I'm missing my important and critical mails, and I addressed the problems to them, they shut me up and covered up. These should all be fired long times ago and replaced by those willing to work, the manager is just a another disgusting ghetto at full displayed. This Far Rockaway Post Office should be shut down immediately, it is harming the Far Rockaway communities. Please help the Post Master!!!!!!!!!!! We are screaming for help!!!!! If I could give them no star, I would, but google allowed at least a star!!!

When a carrier can continuously deliver your important mail to other addresses, that is the highest level of incompetence. When packages are collected and not scanned into the system to be tracked, that calls for internal an investigation. Yet no one does anything about these things. When called, no one answers the phone, ever. USPS should be ashamed to be associated with this branch.

The young lady at the front desk was rude and disrespectful I asked her for her name. She said she doesn't have to give it to me. So I took a picture. I asked for her manager she told me he wasn't there. I don't know who are hiring these incompetent people. The Customer service at this location is beyond horrible.
