Worst post office ever.  I am really hate it how Amazon uses them now.  I never get my packages in two days. First I get told they attempted delivery but I wasn't home.  I checked the time and I was home but they never rang the bell.  Then they say I have to pick it up from the post office.  I go there with the proof of this, wait on a crazy long line, only to be told it is out for delivery.  So after wasting an hour and a half of my life, I leave, only to get it delivered the next day. This makes no sense whatsoever.  So inefficient and a waste of every ones time and tax dollars

One of the worst post office. 
They take there own time. No one to even ask a quick question. Just to ask that we have to be in a long line. And then come back in the same line to post it. They should get some hard working young employees to this place. To mail something you at least need 2hrs of your time.

Always lots of customers but not enough tellers. Lack of postal worker staff. Thus, waiting in line is a pain in the neck if you're trying to be in and out in minutes. But the staff is friendly and the premise is fairly clean. 

- Noticeable from a moving vehicle. 
- No FREE parking. Use the ParkNYC app 📲 if you know you're going to be there for a long while. 

- Wheelchair ♿ accessible through the ramp. 
- No public restroom if you're wondering 🤔💭. 

- U.S. Passports renewal drop-off is accepted. 
- U.S. Passport applications available. 
- P.O. Boxes service offered. 
- Stamps are sold here. 
- Small, medium and large boxes available. 

- No perfume, cologne, body spray or lotion are permitted in the mailing envelopes as they'll be confiscated for security reasons.  You'll be risking their loss if you do. 

-->📣🔊 If you do make a lot of trips to the U.S. Postal Office 🏢, then grab your white and red priority envelopes for U.S. mailings and the blue express envelopes for international mailing to get them ready at home beforehand just to save time 🕒 when you finally made it to the cashier or teller. 

- And remember to bring your own pen ✒ to make corrections or redo a whole new envelope while waiting in line.

And be very careful when dropping off your mailings containing confidential info, checks and money orders in the U.S. Postal blue mailboxes 📧📪 as some nuisance will "fish them out 📤" to sell your personal information and cash 💵 out your rent money or utility bill payments.

As the historical marker makes known, PO 11421 is an interesting building, especially indoors in the small public part. There you can see a timely mural by Ben Shawn (WPA,1940s). You are taking a chance of encountering an enormously long lines of people taking way more time to buy a stamp (no machines for that!) than heaven or hell should allow. Don't put mail in the US POST BOX in front of the building. Some theives were recently arrested for attempting mail theft right there. Having been a customer for many years, I can attest that all the employees dealing with the public are now all helpful and friendly. One lovely tall lady goes the extra mile and those of us who use this PO are lucky to have our business with her. No place to sit, rarely a functional pen. An increasingly irate line of customers waiting for the one or two tellers on duty. Sometimes fate smiles upon the fortunate person who walks in and has the house to himself. I don’t understand how difficult it is to ring a bell? Why would you leave a package at the front door? Woodhaven might be a nice neighborhood but it doesn’t mean that there’s no thieves. Anyways, lost 2 packages, filed a claim to only get a callback from this office saying that the mailman delivered my package and that next time they won’t leave it at the front door!! Their service sucks!!! They are so miserable, they hate their job therefore have horrible customer service skills. I wish someone would change this post office. It sucks!!!!!
