**Preface: I sell many, many items online via Etsy. I ship packages every single day. I know my post offices.** This is THE worst post office. USPS encourages you to use their website to ship packages. They encourage you to use the automated machines in their lobbies instead of standing in line. This is all well and good - except this post office location DOES NOT accept prepaid packages. There is literally several signs throughout this location that threaten you to NOT leave packages on the counters - and get this - because “it makes their employees have to work late”. Totally serious!! These signs then direct you to drive around to the back and drop it off in the SECURE mail room. You can’t make this stuff up!  They are so against their customers. It is such a joke!!  They have even taken out the big package drop slot. They need to fire every single employee at this location and hire all new ones. Worst post office ever!! Don’t believe me - print a label for a package online then try to drop it off here. You’ll believe me then. Or to have a great postal experience go to the 800 East location - they’ll gladly take a package off your hands - and they do it with a smile.

Beware this location is NOT accepting packages 11/25/17.  Don't waste your time coming here. They literally have a sign up telling you to take your drop off package to another post office. There are also convoluted instructions for taking your package to a truck in the back. There is no truck. Don't bother.

The one time I physically went in there wasn't too bad for me. But I'm pretty sure this is the center where my day to day mail comes out of and all I have to say is, you have the worst, laziest people ever! One time there was a younger man who was great, always got my mail same time ever day and brought my packages to my door. I literally find them everywhere from my neighbors doors, to basement door Wells that nobody uses, behind bushes or on random stairs. I live in a 4 apartment complex. We have a sign on the shared front door that specifically states to come to the side door that has our apartment number on it! It's not like it's behind a house or a rented basement and maybe 15 extra steps. We get expensive stuff shipped to our house most the time and I'm incredibly nervous for the upcoming holidays because once it snows I wouldn't be suprised to be getting mail in the middle of the road. Not to mention a few packages have been cut open/ripped from terrible care and being thrown at our house. If you are too lazy to deliver properly get a different job.

I really wish I could rate 0 stars. This is the 3rd time in a row that they have messed up a delivery of a package. The last time, they said they attempted to deliver, but there was no safe place to leave it. Everyone was home the entire day, and they have never had a problem leaving it on the porch. The next time, they said that it was delivered yet we had no package. We had to stop the carrier the next day and confront him. It magically showed up the following day. Now, the package was out for delivery 4 days ago, and never made it to me. Now, the status just states that the status has not been updated. I have tried multiple times to call the office, and they will not answer the phone AT ALL. It rings an outrageous number of times. The last time, someone eventually picked it up, and hung it up. This is the worst post office that I have ever had to deal with. I sell on eBay regularly, and I will now be switching all of my shipping to FedEx and UPS. I don't care if I spend a bit more. At least I know they will actually deliver it, or at least answer the phone if there is an issue. DO NOT SHIP HERE!!!!!!!

Incredibly slow. General attitude is that they don't want to go out of their way to help you. Came in 5 mins late one time, with a prepaid priority label. All they had to do was stick it in a prepaid envelope and send it off but they refused. Literally would have taken them a minute and nothing would have to be done on the computer or register since everything was prepaid before. Just needed them to give me the envelope from behind the counter. Ridiculous. Couldn't spare a mom (juggling a car seat and baby) a simple courtesy. all in all- slow and unhelpful people working here.
