Was forced to use USPS for a return item. Came in with my prepaid label and item boxed, just needed a strip of tape to close the box. Any UPS or FedEx store will gladly do this for you. Waited in line for 10 minutes only to be told they cannot provide tape, I could come back later or choose to buy some tape in the store and get in line again. Going into any USPS location feels like being transported 40 years back in time to some sort of Soviet bureaucracy. I just read the USPS lost $2.1 billion just last quarter. What a joke.

This is the absolute worst post office on the face of the planet. I actually feel sorry for them because I, myself, would absolutely hate to have to work somewhere on a team full of COMPLETE IDIOTS. They are absolutely unhelpful regardless of what you are needing help with and as far as delivering mail goes, don't cross your fingers too hard - you won't ever receive the correct mail!! They mis-deliver mail CONSTANTLY to the wrong apartments and will send notifications out that they have delivered your package when they, in fact, still have it at the post office. I recently experienced an issue where they did not deliver a package to my office because they said that the address was incorrect. My manager went to the post office to address the situation and after waiting in the world's longest line, the clerk was absolutely terrible. Not only was she awfully condescending, but she was claiming that the address was wrong even though it CLEARLY matched the billing address for our credit card. It is a real address, OKAY??! Maybe, just maybe, they need to offer reading classes to their clerks. FedEx, UPS, and OnTrac all deliver things to my office without a problem, so I'm not sure why it is SO complicated for these people. Also, don't ever count on calling them and actually reaching someone on the other side. That phone will ring and ring and ring and you are totally out of luck. Hopefully, they have plans to make changes at this location because at this point, there's no way they can get any worse!

If I could give a negative star rating I would. This is beyond the most difficult post office I have ever dealt with. The Draper location is very busy, however no matter how busy their location is or how long the line is they only have 1 or 2 people working at the counter at all times. I manage a local apartment community and am constantly getting mail returned to my office that was delivered to the wrong apartment even though the correct apartment number was written on the letter or package. Packages are being delivered to the wrong homes constantly....or what is worse the residents are expecting packages that were suppose to be delivered that didn't get delivered and they are forced to come to the leasing office or drive to the post office in search of their package. The most frustrating part of the whole process is that our apartment community is bringing in HUNDREDS of new people to the Draper community and it is infuriating that they treat them horribly. Our new residents are forced to drive to the post office to pick up the mail key instead of letting our office hand them out which would save the new residents of our community time and effort. In addition, when someone moves out and a new person moves in they are going to charge either the new resident or our business $15 for a new lock and keys set - they are charging this fee regardless if the original mail keys were turned back into to their location. They never answer the phone I literally had to call them over 10 times this morning before anyone answered. The people that work there have no consideration, don't see the bigger picture and have ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. We have another community that opened a few years ago that did not have the same experience as what we are being challenged with, which leads me to believe that this has something to do with how the current staff is being trained and managed. In my line of work, which I would consider to be, serving the residents of Draper city and newcomers to the city I always think of how we can be welcoming and provide these new residents with great customer service and making their transition to Draper as easy as possible. THIS IS NOT THEIR MINDSET. VERY SAD!

The most useless post office ever. I purchased an item from amazon with free 2 day shipping, expected to arrive on Sunday. According to Amazon, the package arrived in Draper that morning--no more than 5 minutes from my home. The package then proceeded to bounce around the state, making stops in Pleasant Grove and SLC. I attempted to contact the office directly to ask what the deal was, and they hung up on my call 6 times. The seventh call finally got through and I was told that Amazon lied when they said that the package arrived in Draper. The lady told me my package was in Salt Lake City, and would be here next Wednesday. Utterly useless service.

I have been in this post office a number of times, and they are typically pretty busy (just the nature of the beast). But they're ALWAYS nice. Today I worked with a Dolores, who was honestly the highlight of my entire day. She was polite, and kind. She asked me about my day, and kindly helped me send off 55 packages with NO FUSS!! 55 packages is a LOT of work! Kindness and patience gets you a long way. Dolores was an absolute ray on sunshine today. I know these people do everything they can for their customers - and i appreciate it. Thank you!
