This place is so hit or miss, and today it's a MISS. I decided to take video of the 10 customers standing in the que with no one at the counter. There was not one employee for over 4 minutes, even though you could hear them laughing in the back. Hopefully I can upload video and make comments to help them improve their performance. May 1 - 16 minutes to buy postage for a large envelope. 12 people in line and two employees. 1 star today.

First you need to call and make an appointment to get your passport just because. Trust me, make an appointment first. So I made my appointment, I went here to get my passport mid-week. It was so easy. Walked in, filled out paperwork, waited less than 10 minutes, and was called to a booth. They took my picture and birth certificate (they will mail it back), and that was it, I was done. They mailed both my passport and birth certificate in less than 6 weeks. I would recommend going during the week, and not the weekend if you don't want to wait. So go ahead and just take a day off to get this done.

The people here are evil!! I have been running my business the same way for 4 years. I prepare my packages on Sunday night and drop them off on monday morning. I was told because my packages didn’t have today’s date ( they had sun and not mon) that they couldn’t accept my packages at the counter. I informed the lady that I’ve been doing this for 4 years and never had a problem. She told me to drop them in the drop box because she wasn’t in charge of that department and couldn’t speak for what they do. I dropped my packages and left. I didn’t fill comfortable so 5 mins later I went back and asked for my packages. Immediately after left she told her employees to go get my packages and send them back to me and if I wanted them back I would have to pay 13.75 per package ( I dropped of 15 packages). After speaking to corporate she could have easily stamped a new date on them. Now I have to wait for them to be sent to me so that I can send them to my customers. Oh and I also have to repurchase those labels because she said they would be no good. She also stated she was the regional trainer. I can’t believe they have people like this in charge! She could have easily said if you drop them I’m going to tell them to send them back to you. That is not what she said, she told me to drop them and immediately went and got them to send back to me. I was on the phone with a friend and I mentioned how this was ruining my day ( mind you I was off to the side) she proceeded to point me to another employee and said “ since I’m ruining your day someone else can help you” the most unprofessional, rude experience I’ve ever had at a business. And this is who they have training other employees... she said she was the regional trainer. So if you want to know why they are so rude in ATL it’s because their trainer is Evil. I will be filing an official complaint.

The postal service in the Atlanta area is one of the most inefficient locations I have ever come across. Mail will be lost for MONTHS at time and then it will show up at the senders address as "Unable to forward" We have had certified mail with a TEXAS address be delivered and signed for in Winder, Georgia. Mail isnt put in the correct P.O. Boxes, mail rotates around to different locations in the metro area for weeks at a time. SOMETHING needs to be done.

The worst.customer service ever. A package was sent here for them to hold my item, the next day when I came to pick up that item the clerk stated that she would not go look for my item because it was 4 bins she would have to look through and I stead she stated she would call me the next day once she came back in for work; because of the long line ams the clerks consistent rudeness to me I just went along with what she said believeing that she was just having a bad day and I would receive the package tomorrow. Long story short, I never received that call and the time was shipped back to sender. I can't believe the USPS is so unprofessional and classless. This experience has stamped that I will NEVER use USPS services again. A true disappointment.
