Had a very bad experience. Waitress named Nikki waited on us. She took our order and turned and was over by waffle maker. We were waiting on one cup of coffee. I asked if we could get the cup of coffee and she turned around and said with an attitude that's not the way we do things here. I don't work there so I would not know that. She also told us that we had an attitude from the time we walked in the door. We did not. This is not something that you tell a paying customer. I asked for jelly she had another waitress come and wait on us. The waitress Kay that took her place was very nice. Asked for manager but she was busy cooking told our new waitress to take our checks and we do not have to pay for meal. While we much appreciated that ,that was not our intent. We just wanted to talk to management to explain how rude our waitress Nikki was. I work in retail and you do not tell the customer that is not how we do things here nor do you tell the customer they had an attitude since we walked in the door. Which we did not have. This is how you lose customers.
We had to wait a bit to get an open table but that's not a big deal. Our server was friendly and our food came very fast. Portions are more than enough, the food was good, and prices are less than most other places.Food: 4/5
The staff was not helpful. We had a party of 5 and were told we could not sit at a booth with a chair at the end however there were 3 other booths with 4 people and a highchair at the end. Weird but no problem we will wait. We waited for 15 mins for a place to open we gladly sat at the bar. The staff took their time to clean up the area and acted as if we were rather a bother to them. We then watched a waitress Nikki then iniate an argument with a customer. The lady came to the dishwasher area and asked if they could be waited on, these ladies sat down before us and had not yet been spoken to. Nikki explained that she did not know what the hold up was as that was not her station. The lady then well whoever is supposed in that area can you send them we are hungry. Nikki then told the CUSTOMER "you don't have to get an attitude with me" and it was off from there. The lady and her friend left and said we will go eat somewhere else. Being in the restaurant biz I was floored. She then began complaining about customers in general to others in my party. Not a good look. The stats of the day were the male cook and Dominique his prep asst. They provided us with drinks to go and engaged more with us than our servers. The rest of the crew was wasting time, complaining about stuff, lazy and disorganized. Don't bother stopping at this location if you are hungry for Waffle House. Way to go Kitchen crew 5 stars for you.
Maybe a off day for them this morning. I called for pickup, 15 minutes later, I walked and saw what I believed was my food waiting for me on the counter. I tried to get someone's attention that I was there for my food. I literally waited for two people, who were walk in orders to get their food before me. One of the customer's asked for their drinks and was told " I'm doing the best I can", so I took it as they were overwhelmed. I'm an understanding person, so I rushed to the counter before the person that checked out the second person I had to wait for to get my food. I paid and left to surprise my wife with a late breakfast. I was so disappointed. What was usually good food, was burned and short some hash browns, I ordered a "large" order for my wife and I, 2 orders. Also, both of us had "issues" after we ate little later.
Went to this location and they refused to prepare a to-go order. Said they were too busy. Stupid logic… so it’s better to tie up a waitresses time when I could sit down and just ask for a to-go container for my food. Not going to be that petty so I’ll just not frequent Waffle House. Strawns or IHOP it is…
I got the 2 grilled pork chops,2 scrambled eggs, hash browns covered and smothered, toast and cheese grits. Very delicious and cooked to perfection!
Food was good. Service was friendly. Stood in line for over 10 minute waiting to pay.Food: 5/5
Service was horrible after sitting for 15 minutes i had to get up to ask who was working our section. Finally got some of our food not all of it I ordered toast because my order didn’t include it. I waited thinking she would bring it any second i was mistaken she finally brought it after i was done eating thats when my husband got his waffle and sausage that came with his meal. the toast in the picture is my husbandsNever did get a refill on drinks or was asked if we needed refills. When we stood up to leave then and only then did she ask if we would like to go drinks. I understand there is going to be a few pieces of dropped food in the cooking area hack i drop a few when i cook at home i clean it up with in a minute if not sooner but this was disgusting as you can see in the photo. I don’t understand what has happened to this restaurant use to be really good service and food not to mention clean. I will not be back.
Simply awesome! Bert Kouns in Shreveport. They were extremely busy, but great service and kind workers. From the greeter to the cook, from the waitress to the dish washer. Good time. And while I sat there at the counter next the register and received my food, a man I had chatted with in line paid for my breakfast. Wow! Pray for the recovery of his grandkid who just got out of the hospital with a procedure. So when I saw a man with a 101st Airborne hat on, I paid it forward and picked up his tab. People are wonderfully nice. Like the waitress who is from LA, the greeter who is so pleasant, the two ladies I sat next to who were enjoying the day, the friend from church I saw, and the little kid who "possibly" enjoyed my juggling routine of the three coffee creamers. Smile, God loves you!
Food was great and fast. Smiley ,my waitress, was the best. I was in town on business. I stop there because it reminded me of home/friends in Ohio. While i was as there, I found out that my friends husband had passed. He loved Waffle House. Smiley and the staff said they would pray for my friends. I will be back when I am.in town.
