Got a citation for brake and tag light being out... how was I supposed to know?? Had to get it fixed and have the citation signed by a certified inspection facility and so i looked up where a close one was and found this place had the best rating and boy is it well deserved! Was completely shocked when it was all fixed and I only had to pay $14! Wish I had cash on me I would have tipped. But I didn't so I'm writing this review to try to help bring them more service! And I'll certainly be returning for other car needs! The mechanic obviously cares about his work too because he pumped up all my tires that were reading low and I didn't even ask for that. Such a great place! Happy to support a local business and not a chain!

I have been using these guys for service off and on for decades. Keith and Gary are top notch stand up guys. Always fair and honest. Today I came in with a nail in my tire. 15 minutes I was back on the road! Highly recommend Waugh Chapel Service Center!

I was broken down in Crofton Md , over an hour from my house, last weekend and had been waiting 3 hours for  a tow truck my towing service had promised. I gave up waiting and looked for s local garage on my iPhone. I called the Waugh Chapel garage and they came and got me within a half hour. The tow truck driver was able to attach my gear shift cable and  had me follow him to the garage. Because repairing my car only took a few minutes and scraping some rust off the dewhicky where the cable attached, I was not charged for anything other than the towing! They could have taken total advantage of me but they were good people and got me on my way quickly. They renewed my faith in humanity. I am very grateful to them .

Came in for a vehicle inspection. Had my car for a few days, with no call. I called and they told me I had a few repairable issues. I ask for a price and they told me they didn't have a price at that time. Came in for a price and they gave me an invoice for one of the repairs but not all. Told me that one of the repairs required them taking it to another shop. Another couple of days went by and I had to call them again only to found out that the other shop couldn't do the repair. They recommended another shop to take it to and I had to personally drive my car to another shop for the repair. After completing that repair I brought it back in. To my amazement they finally called and told me my car is ready. I asked for the price and they still didn't have an invoice for it. I stopped by later on that day and the billing still wasn't up. I waited for 30 minutes before I finally received a bill. Two+ weeks for an inspection......

It would have been a higher rating if the communication was better and they actually had answer to question like the cost.... If an inspection is what you want please find a better place than this...

Keith is the most honest mechanic we've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. His rates are reasonable and the staff is professional and friendly.
