I went there for an oil change 4000 miles ago because of the good reviews and was told it would be around 90 for an oil and filter change. It ended being 143 but I wasn't too bother because I figured it would cost more for synthetic oil and luxury cars.. 

The main problem is after getting a low oil levels warning after 4000 miles, i became suspicious and decided to change it myself this time. My oil was almost completely black and my friend who was helping and does his own maintenance says the filter looks like it wasn't even changed. So basically i was charged 90 dollars for crappy oil and 17 for a non existent filter. or they just reset the oil maintenance warning and did nothing. For $143 and synthetic oil, I should, at the very least ,expect to have lasted past 4000 miles before getting a low oil light. Also my car has no leaks and has no oil burning problems so that's not why..

Update- I changed my own oil and filter every 5k miles with synthetic after this and never had the same issue again. So...

I loved this place! As a woman who knows nothing about cars, I'm always on the lookout for an honest car place. Hullmuth was recommended to me by a woman from work and I'll definitely be staying with them as long as I'm in the area. They treat you well, remember your name, work quickly and give you accurate prices for your services. I definitely recommend them.

If you have a hybrid, I understand taking your car to Hillmuth. If you don't have a hybrid then don't take your car here... They will charge you more. In addition, their customer service on the phone is rather deplorable. I recommend the Clarksville location over Columbia...but only if you have a hybrid. Otherwise go elsewhere.

I was very pleased with their service. I had a steering wheel issue. They were prompt and that horrible noise disappeared! Stan was very helpful in explaining the problem as well as what upcoming maintenance issues I should be aware of in the future.

I am not a review writer at all... but this shop seriously impressed me. Everyone was friendly, they offer a shuttle and the prices were completely reasonable and I have ZERO doubts about the work they did on my car. Thanks Hillmuth! You are my new favorite car shop!
