I am a 73 year old male that has been going to Acumen for a number of years. Before my first visit I had severe lower back pain that barely responded to muscle relaxants and I tried chiropractic adjustment...the massage on my back was wonderful... but at the end of the day I still hurt. 
With nothing to lose, after all acupuncture can do no harm, but with deep skepticism, I went to Acumen for a treatment. as I remember I needed a cane to just get out of the car and into the office.  After the session that used I would guess 10-15 extremely fine needles with NO Pain at all but strange sensations of heaviness in my hands that I now understand is normal, I easily got off the table with no help and NO pain. I was amazed what a difference just 45 minutes with a bunch of very fine needles in me made.
It too, as I remember 3-4 additional sessions, to totally erase all the pain.
Last week I again had lower back pain and went in for a session.  My first since 2007. And again Ilan did his magic. I went in yesterday for another session and I am without any back pain. 
From a total skeptic, I now totally support this amazing, pain free, inexpensive, wonderful way to be free of horrible pain.
Also, my next door neighbor who is a RN insisted I go to an ortho guy which I did and he told me that I am preaching to the choir...he sends folks to acupuncture  all the time.

Dr. Johnny is amazing. He changed my life, and he has magic technique. I can't help telling all my family about him. Just go to him and see what he does, since he gives one time free treatment for first visit. He said "you have to check if your Qi can match with his Qi well..."

My wife and I both decided to try acupuncture because traditional western medicine was not helping with our various complaints – I suffer from gastric reflux, and she deals with an irritable bowel.  Through acupuncture, Ilan was able to lessen the painful symptoms that we were both experiencing, and it also had some other unexpected benefits.  We were surprised to find that it was very effective in relieving our stress as well – my wife is more relaxed now than she has been since I met her in college!  Acupuncture has significantly increased both our health and happiness – why didn’t we try it sooner?

My wife and I have had the pleasure of being treated by Ilan Migdali. We had never had acupunture before and did not know what to expect. Ilan was extremely understanding and willing to take the time to really know who he was treating. His knowledge and experience base is tremendous and the results prove it.

Ilan was able to help each of us with our own needs, both psychological and physical. The ability to relieve pain with such success without the use of pharmaceutical drugs is unbelievable and should be the standard for all medicine.
