This hotel was amazing! The water heater broke for 1 day during my visit (for a work function with 70 people), but they made sure to get it fixed within 24 hours AND the hotel offered us a free cocktail hour on our last day where we had beer and delicious food! The food was AMAZING!!!! I would like to thank Ruth for taking care of the Magellan folks during our conference. Ruth saw some of us struggling to find a safe place to charge our laptops and she came out with an extension cord/device with multiple outlets and duct tape...she taped everything safely to the floor so there were no tripping hazards and she made it possible for us to charge our laptops at our table! She was the best!

Warm and comfy. Great location. Decent service. I doubt even 10 percent of this place is handicapped accessible, but I didn't give it a thorough check. The rooms had a historic feel to them I guess? Some of the updates kind of ruin the aesthetic. For instance there are holes cut into the old floors for telephone wires (that themselves are now dated) Towels smelled either burnt or like the harbor, or some combination of both.

I loved our stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We just walked in and right away we were priced matched with the cheapest going rate in the area. Our room was so rustic and cute. Really went with the historical feel of the area. Furthermore, it is right in the heart of all the bars and eatery’s of the area.

Great place right in down town fells. Let them valet the car and enjoy the town. Rooms are kind of small but it's because it is originally an old historic building not cause their jambing you in. Great cozy spot. Stayed again last night. The only place to stay in fells.

Very old hotel with a ton of history. Room was fine, although a tad small by today's standards. Bar was great, Steven the bartender superb. Made my wife a hot toddy (she had a cold coming on) which by all accounts was outstanding. Breakfast was included in our package and again was superb, with full breakfast entree's. Good all around experience. All staff were genuinely helpful.
