Wow...Costco/Alamo, you guys are great.  The car I rented was awesome; 2018 Nissan Maxima Platinum-loaded with all the bells and whistles.  What a car.  And the agent at the Louisville Airport, who could see I hadn't fished out my jacket yet,(having flown in from Phoenix) and had a cart with two U-Haul boxes, two large suitcases, and assorted carry-on bags, offered to go get my car for me, arrived having all the heaters going and seat warmers on for me, and helped load our luggage into the car.  Talk about a positive memorable experience.  Thanks for everything.

I went through car rental 8 website. Advertised as a $32 day car we ended up being asked to pay an additional $66 day for insurance and an extra driver. No easy way to get a refund. I'm going elsewhere way better value to be had. Yes I could have read through the many terms and conditions and maybe have got an idea what was waiting for me when I went to pick up the car but like others I'll go to companies that make it simple to see what the costs are upfront.

Best service ever we were able to get an 8 passenger van from state to state when initially there wasn't anything available. Then when my iPad got left behind in one of the back compartments by my friend's kids Will and JD went above and beyond to locate it for me. Amazing customer service thank you 1,000 times over great customer service.

During a 2 week stay in Ky (part business and part personal), I had two experiences with Alamo.  Each time the agent was very nice, but not always clear about the additional costs for the "Manager's Choice", which happened to be a giant truck, which was nice, but twice the price I expected it to be, and there wasn't a good explanation of that.  I did learn that Manager's Choice is for the benefit of the company, as opposed to the client!  Lesson Learned!  The second experience was rental of a small, car for a couple of days upon return from a business trip out of state.  It was fine, and there was an explanation about the gasoline savings that could occur with the lower than station cost per gallon, which was nice.  I agree with another client that the "upsale" of additions is a bit much, and detracts from the reason clients come to Alamo--the base costs.

I use alamo every weekend. I allways get the manager special and normally im more then satisfied .  but the last 3 times ive received some bad pics on cars .    and the manager at the location is great. If your lucky enough to meet him. Allways treated me well.  But some of the new employees very rude and un professional.     If your lucky enough to deal with josh the manager. You may have a good experience.   Either way they have the lowest prices and are open long hours. Good luck
