I rent from this location approximately every 2 weeks. I chose Alamo because they were the only ones who did not charge the extra deposit fee. I went in on 02/09/17 and was met with the new posted rules of a $200 deposit in addition to the rental fee. I was taken a little upset and the rental agent (who knows of me. They all know me at CAE) apologized and explained what she thought was the reasoning. The fee along with the "new fees" tacked on has placed a sour taste in my mouth. The base rental was only about $15 a day for 3 days and I paid almost $90. The fees were basically double the base rate. This is awful. And to finally add insult to injury, the $200 hold was not released back to my credit card for almost a week after I returned the vehicle. I am a loyal customer (Alamo can check my rental history) I have one more reservation which is for tomorrow and I think I will no longer rent. I have 2 dependable vehicles so its not a necessity to rent vehicles. I only do it to save from adding hundreds of miles to my own when I have to travel out of town. I am so disappointed.

Wow am I glad I became an Alamo customer! The entire process was wonderful. The rental clerk in Columbia SC was beyond wonderful and helpful. She insured I was fully happy with my car. The Jeep Liberty was new and just what I needed, enough room for my bags and yet economical on the gas. I will use Alamo as my 1st choice in renting a car.

By far the best rental rates and customer service.  Reservation specialist at front desk (CAE airport) was very efficient.  I was in and out on my way in no time.  The young man at the counter and parking deck were very helpful.  Great job.  Will definitely rent from Alamo again.  Very pleased with rates and vehicle.

I was amazed when I arrived at the counter of Alamo. The representative was ready to serve and was very quick with pulling up my information on her computer. I was in and out within 5 minutes. I also like the setup of having all the rental company in one location the signage for direction was absolutely clear. I love renting from Alamo, my return was not so bad either. The returned representative was very helpful also. Alamo, were you go to Rent A Car

We ended  up with a car that had a bad transmission. It was awful. We called and Alamo was very willing to take care of the issue and exchange the car. Everyone was super friendly and  very accomodating.
