After two attempts to get a rental car from Herzt in time to get to work, we gave up. We assumed the body shop had misspoken the first time when they told us Hertz would meet us with a car at the shop the day of our appointment. Instead, the Hertz employee was there to pick us up to finish the transaction and get the car at the local Hertz office. There was no way that could be done without being late to work by this time. So I called and tried to arrange to get all the paperwork done in advance and then pick up the car another day. Julie at Hertz told me it takes "5 minutes" and they can't run the credit card through in advance anyway. I told her I would be there at around 8:30 on Monday morning. But when I got there, today I found the door locked and a note on the door (out to pick up a customer). When the woman returned (at 8:48), she spent 15 minutes with the customer inside the building and was headed out the door with him to finish the transaction. I explained to her that I had talked to Julie last week, had been there at 8:30 in accordance with that discussion, and asked her if she could tell me if we would be out the door in 15 minutes, she responded like other reviewers have mentioned - rude and unprofessional. She clearly knew nothing about me (looked it up on the computer and asked if I wanted the car "today" in a tone that told me she thought that was an unreasonable expectation) and just wouldn't commit to a time frame. This particular branch deserves its low rating.

Some of the most rude, condescending, unprofessional employees I've dealt with. I could almost look past waiting 45 minutes for them to gas up and clean a car, but I can't look past the attitude, the scoffing, and being talked down to. I can assure you I will not use Hertz again if I have any other option.

Booked a minivan online 3 weeks in advance. When I arrived, they would not honor the reservation. Apparently, no minivans or comparable SUVs were available. After 24+ hours on a waitlist, still no vehicle.

I visited the location 4 times (in 24 hours) in search of a vehicle. They never offered any comparable alternatives or solutions. The manager seemed understanding, but the 2 other employees I dealt with were unprofessional - either complaining about Hertz corporate, or showing complete apathy to my situation.

I will never use this location again. They were unable to provide me the vehicle class that I reserved or provide any reasonable alternatives.

Worst customer service I've ever seen. I wouldn't recommend this place to a Billy goat. Avoid like the plague.

I always receive excellent service at Hertz. I often deal with Mr. Seth at the Lexington location. He is very professional, and if h says he will contact you, you best bet he will. The staff there is also great as well.
