I woke up Sunday morning, and was planning on having a nice relaxing couple of hours at Central Market, and doing some work on my laptop. I turned it on before I left the house, and got a message that an update was available.  I agreed thinking it would take 5 minutes, and after about 10 minutes, another message said 28 minutes left to complete update. Ah, no!  This was not the plan!  I tried to stop it, and the next thing I knew, a very scary page implied I might have a damaged disc, and all my files might be lost, or at minimum damaged. So instead of my nice relaxing morning coffee, I was on my way to the Apple Store at Barton Creek.  About an hour later, Ian came to my rescue, and completely fixed everything!  No lost files, no damaged disc, and he even showed me how to download a program I needed for an interview later this week, and how to organize all the files on my desktop.  So I just want to say "Thank you" to Ian, and let him know how much I appreciate his expertise, and how he really turned my day around.

I went here after my phone froze for five hours and unfrozen by itself. Amanda ran a diagnostic test telling me that my phone was fine, and 2 hours later my screen went completely black. I haven't been able to use for the past 12 hours and even after checking online at 10 am, their earliest appointment was at 2:30. they also dont answer the phone if you try to call in and it's not even the weekend, its a rainy Tuesday.

Went in to ask for help on my new iPhone and they basically told me that there wasn’t anything they could do. So I went home and played around on the phone and figured out everything on my own. It ended up being a very simple solution. Something that they could have shown me in under 5 mins.

The staff is so much nicer than the domain store! If you're gonna go anywhere, go here, but be nice! These guys deserve your kindness. :)

I needed to update my iMac's operating system and tried downloading it multiple times from the online Apple store. It kept failing, so I spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support, and it still didn't work, so they made an appt. for me with the Genius Bar at the Barton Creek Apple store. The person who helped me was anything but a genius. After totally not understanding why I was there, I finally go it across to him and had to leave my computer overnight and was told I could pick it up the next day. I went back and told the seemingly 18-year-old girl why I was there, she said she couldn't find my name in their system. She asked what I was having repaired—seriously? After waiting almost 30 minutes for them to locate my computer, I finally got it back and asked if they had something to put over the monitor to protect it. "I'll see if I can find something, he said." He brought out a cover that's obviously made for such purposes. He said they don't usually give them away and that I'd have to pay if I had to get another one. Poor service, and as others have said, incompetent employees.
