Store Has Closed. Other stores open in Austin Area though. They will honor warranties on equipment purchased at this store. Will miss this store, they had cool staff and great prices.

Good, prompt service, knowledgeable staff. The prices were excellent and they had a military discount. I will definitely go there again.

Great place to find PC parts when you need them right away. I've been buying parts and accessories from Discount Electronics for over 10 years. Store carries a wide variety of cables and adapters for computers. Also a decent place to purchase used laser printers. Prices are very fair for a retail store where you can have it in hand right away. Used computer prices are in line with what other small stores or vendors sell refurbished PC's for. Overall the majority of items purchased from Discount Electronics have been of decent price and quality. However I do not recommend purchasing power supplies (due to cheap quality) and used hard drives (not tested fully) as I and others I know have had several units fail shortly after purchase. Over my 10 years as a customer, I've made over 100 purchases. I recommend visiting Discount Electronics for your accessory needs, or to find parts when needed on the spot. Just be aware that returns are for store credit only, and they will not budge on this policy.

Unfriendly staff. They seem to want to compete with customer to show off that they have better electronic and IT prowess than the customer. You can obtain refurbished computers, printers, etc. here. Prices are much better than Best Buy and somewhat better than Walmart.
