My wife and I went in to the Mishawaka, IN store to look for a bedroom dresser  for a guestroom we're remodeling. We found a nice dressor marked down due to a damaged corner. i told the sales lady we'd take the dressor but asked that  if we paid could we pick it up in a month cause I'm recoverying from a work injury to my leg, didn't want to pay $100 for delivery and I can't move it now. The sales lady checked with someone then came back and said they could hold it for one month on one condition. If I didnt pick the dressor up within the month, Art Van keeps my dressor and my money. i repeated the condition to verify; yup one day late and I'm out $200. What a clip joint. I'll never shop there again. Dirty!

Very helpful sale people.  Same furniture as Ashley right next door, but at a much lower price!  Very happy with all of my furniture.

Very happy with our furniture purchase! Even came with accent pillows I wasn't expecting! Delivered on time, all around very satisfied. James Savannah was super helpful, didn't pressure us at all, & very down-to-earth.

I was interested in buying a mattress here. I am not sure where to start with how awful my customer service/sales experiences was at this Art Van location. I recently visited the store to purchase a mattress and was forced to lay on a bed to have some farce "science" "measure" my sleeping needs (in 3 minutes, no less) while a salesman stared at me. Awkward. Then, I was coerced to pick out a $100 pillow (despite expressing no interest in a new pillow) and directed to a mattress three times the cost of my budget. When I explained to the salesman that I wanted to purchase an in-stock mattress, he scoffed and said that since the store deals in such "high volume sales of only top-quality, customized mattresses" that nothing is stocked at the store. When I explained that waiting a week for a mattress was not going to meet my needs the salesman gave me a dirty look, told me in a condescending tone to go the the Mattress Firm and walked away in a hilariously hurried huff. I did go to the Mattress Firm across the parking lot and picked up a great in-stock, quality mattress from friendly salespeople. Thanks for the comic relief, Art Van. 

Bottom line: as a consumer, I feel sales start and end with customer service. My experience at Art Van most definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and they've lost any potential future business from me.

I was very pleased with my experiences with Art Van. We came in to browse during a sale, and I found a very nice table. The salesman answered all of my questions and didn't hover. Our check out was quick and we even got an ice cream maker after the purchase becausr of the promotion they had going on. We did have a hang up in delivery, but It was because the delivery man found scratches in it, so I didn't mind. The manager called to apologize and set up a new delivery date and it was here that day, set up, and looks wonderful. Everyone was professional and courteous.
