Rate was good.. reservation easy to make...agent easy to understand.. car clean and right size....Avis delivered and will use again for my northern Michigan trips. I just changed rental car companies because this experience was so simple.

$1238 of charges, I was never told about were added to my debit card. I was told by two Avis/ budget employees at the time I picked up the car that if I chose to drop the car off in a separate location that it would be $127 fee.  I then called them twice to confirm this which they did confirm I could drop off the car for a $127 charge. I Also was told there would be an e-mail sent to the drop off location they gave me. When I got there they had no idea I was coming.
 I brought the car back without a scratch on it and even bought extra insurance which I was told would be mostly refunded had I brought the car back undamaged. This I found out was not true either. There employees were NOT EDUCATED ON THEIR OWN POLICIES and in the end I owed $1238 extra because I dropped it off in a separate location. I have contacted them 6 times and 2 times I was offered help. Help in this case was we will contact you in 30 days, which again was lies because two months have past and they haven't contacted me. I feel so disappointed in myself for trusting the Budget/Avis employees.

Had to drop these folks a quick review. My company is up there often for work and they're the most reliable, friendliest rental car agency I've ever worked with in the country.
