Rented a car by calling in I told them I would be driving to abilene Texas from Lawrence kansas. They quoted me and told me I will be dropping off at the abilene airport. I paid $130 over the phone and picked the car up the next day. Once I dropped the car off in Abilene Texas I got another charge from avis on my debit car for $470. They then told me I was supposed to drop it off in Lawrence I told them that wasn't the case we already agreed upon me dropping it off in texas. Their customer service is horrible and watch out they will charge you $600 for a $95 dollar car.

Worst car renting experience of my life. The car was horrible.  The service was horrible. I first rented a car that was jerking the entire time I drove it. It smelled funny and there was a substance that looked like vomit on the back of the passenger seat. When I contacted the customer service the young lady was very rude and saying the car checked out and that I would have to pay prices for a SUV rental if I wanted another car which would have been $312.00 additional. On top of that when I dropped the car off I left my portable speaker in the back seat. I called to ask if it had been recovered.  The same rude young lady went on to say that no one has checked out the car and that it would be the following day before it could be cleaned. Needles to say the next day when I called back a gentleman stated that the car had been rented the previous day. I never got my speaker back. Don't rent from this location.  Very unprofessional.
