Rented a car through Avis for 3 days and a few hours before our trip we go to pick up our reserved car. This car reservation also included Insurance for the vehicle and was charged up front on my card.

When picking up the reservation we noted the absence of Avis cars and an abundance of Budget moving trucks. Sure enough the "Manager" a dark complected female said they just gave away our rental and when asked about the insurance we were already charged, she said exactly this, "I don't know what to tell you." Then turned and walked away.

So now we were forced to scramble to find another car reservation at a similar price and go with a competitor 'Enterprise' in Yukon, OK on Garth Brooks Blvd. There, they were extremely helpful, answered our questions and got  us in a larger and more equitable option than originally reserved through Avis and saved us over $40 to boot. The kicker is Enterprise actually fulfilled their obligation and from the time it took to book the vehicle and receive the keys was four minutes faster than it took for a "Manager" for Avis to tell us we were SOL and to create additional problems.

I made my reservation 2 weeks ahead of time, they called and left a voicemail 4 hours before I was due to pick it up stating that they don't have a truck that I reserved available. Instead of offering me a different truck or trying to get me one they simply canceled my order. When I called corporate I waited 4 hours on the phone for them to tell me to try uhaul instead. It was sound advice I got the same truck for $15 less than budget was going to charge. A very poorly managed company. I would advise you to follow suit in what their upper management suggested and go for uhaul, a much easier to deal with company that saved me a little money.

I rented a truck and car trolly a month an advance and received a call the day before scheduled pick up and was told that they had no trucks available.  This is completely unacceptable and has completely screwed up my moving date which was fixed because I am closing on a new house.  When I called they simply stated it was not their problem and to call other truck rental services.  Prices have skyrocketed since I am ordering the truck from other services the day before.   I highly recommend to NOT USE THIS SERVICE.  I will be telling all of my classmates and friends to avoid this company.

WHY would you call someone 15 minutes before closing time on the day before the rental and tell me there are no trucks available!  I RESERVED THIS A MONTH AGO, NEVER USE THIS PLACE EVER
