Lack of professionalism, communication, and vehicles offered for rent are not desirable. The facility was in the worst condition I have ever seen a business in. Putting green next to their desk it looks like two guys got together and decided to open up a car rental company. I would recommend Enterprise. In short I would rather rent a horse and buggy than rent a vehicle from this Hertz location. Some pointers for the staff work on your professionalism and work on your facility definitely do not recommend for anyone.

Called an hour after speaking with my insurance company as my car was derivable. Was told they would have a rental available later that day and I would be called when it was available. After calling 4 separate times because of no call back I was told that a car would be ready the next day. Called the next day and took 3 calls to even get someone because the line kept ringing busy. Third call I was told it wouldn't be ready until the afternoon by which time I was at work. Was told they couldn't drop off the car and since I don't get off work till after they close it would be at least another day for me to get a vehicle. Asked for a manager, at which point they put me on "hold" and never came back. After 10 minutes I hung up. Called again and asked for a manager, waited on hold another 10 minutes for the manager. Do NOT go to this location if you have any option.

I will start with saying I LOVE Hertz and have been using them for personal and professional rentals for years. However, this location left much to be desired for a corporate-run branch. I had a double upgrade coupon and when I called before picking up my rental to make sure they had an SUV I could upgrade to they assured me they'd have it. I would have paid the airport fees had I known my family of 5 would be traveling ten hours in a Hyundai that hadn't been cleaned or filled up, lugging not only suitcases but my son's Football equipment as well. I also could have picked it up on Christmas day instead of the morning we had to leave since this location was closed. And I could have also avoided having to wait for the young lady to run to the back to find out which of the 6 vehicles she should give me, watch her wander around the tiny lot trying to find the "white one". And they probably would have realized the reason the saved card I booked with hadn't gone through was because the amount she was trying to charge to it was $50 more than what she was TELLING me was being charged instead of me calling my credit card company and waiting on hold 20 minutes to see if some security hold was on it and having THEM tell me the actual amount she was trying to charge. I could have just made a payment the day before instead of in the branch and having to wait through the line again after verifying it was posted, or even told her to use a different saved card on my account. Maybe my pickup time of 7:30 wouldn't have turned into 9:30 and our check in to the hotel that night would have given my son more than 6 hours to sleep before he had to be at his first practice. When I returned the car a week later, there was no line and a manager was the only one working. I explained that it was a few gallons shy of full and that I hadn't noticed it was only half full until I had left the week before, but I understood if he needed to charge me. He took my word for the missing gas as if they regularly mismarked them as full without checking, then went out to check the miles. He came back with a toy tiara, a couple old receipts and a STACK of rental agreements from the car and acted as if I had returned the car totally trashed and said "I thought you might want these back". I replied, "no sir, I can't take those. They were in the car when I picked it up". He just shrugged and tossed EVERYTHING in the trash at the end of the counter and said "thanks" and walked to the back, So I took my usually "valued gold member" self outside to wait for my ride outside where it was a brisk 35 degrees....which felt MUCH warmer than standing alone inside where he'd just left a stack of other customer's potentially personal documents. With my luck at that branch, all of them would get their identity stolen that day and Mr. Personality would point to the only person on the security video later (me). I love you to pieces Hertz. You have the best customer service call center team and they're ready to help anytime I call from wherever I am as if they were standing in front of me. In fact, they're usually the only people I interact with since I usually use Gold Service so they probably deserve most of the credit for my continued loyalty through the years. Maybe you should just put a phone in this location with a sign that says "dial zero for a remote agent". I'd gladly hold for half an hour to talk to one of the many faceless agents who've always made me feel valued no matter what my issue was or how far away THEY were than ever relive the face to face interaction I had with your branch employees. I totally appreciate all those 20 minute calls I have made that started with a problem or me panicking over REAL car problems alone in a strange city that ended with me feeling like someone was happy to help me now. Those people managed to make a loyal customer out of me for around $5 of pay from you everytime I called. You just paid a manager-trainee and a branch manager roughly $100 to spend 3 hours ticking me off in person.

I spoke with a Hertz rep on Sunday and we scheduled a time for me to pick up a rental today at 8:30am. I showed up and was told that they did not have a car for me, nor did they have me down for a specific time. I was told they would have a car for me around 12pm. I called and was told to wait until 3pm-5:30pm. I never received a call and still need a vehicle while mine is at the shop. Terrible customer service, lots of false promises. Don't waste your time here.
