It took me less time to drop off and pick up my satisfying Intermediate SUV than it took me to put gas in the car. Lovely staff. The AVIS shuttle was very fast picking me up and dropping me off at Terminal A. The La Guardia terminal shuttles are also not that inconvenient and the staff are very helpful. I actully took the M60 bus from Manhattan to La Guardia to pick up the car and the entire process took me 45 minutes and $2.58. If I was coming from the airport it would have taken me 10 minutes.

I rent from this place all the time and they're extremely fast and efficient if you use the app to place your reservation ahead of time. Only problem I have is that if you have never been there before, figuring out the protocols and where to go can be intimidating. They work very quickly and pretty much expect you to know what to do. Also I've occasionally gotten a car with a brake problem or that smells vaguely of smoke. But that's rare.

The teller who answered the phone was the rudest person on the planet. I do no recommend. This was from the LGA airport branch.

Good luck getting someone on the phone. Worth spending a little bit more and going to a different company.

I have used this place multiple times. My company only rents with avis. It is rare to encounter a friendly face, besides the bus drivers. Add to it, this time the car they gave me was a let down. Rust hole, dirty, squeaky brakes, broken visor clip, paid for ezpass and it did not work (which led to driving delays). I think that is all.
