I rented a vehicle as a Hertz Gold Plus Rewards (free membership) member. Pickup was so simple and easy. At drop-off, I was running late for my flight due to construction delays at the airport. The front desk personnel offered to simply email me the receipt so I wouldn't have to wait (and she did). Very friendly customer service- A gentleman named Errol checked me in and he was very professional, efficient and sociable. I took one star off as telephone access to this center can be quite difficult at times. A manager will call back in a reasonable amount of time if you call the emergency line. However, when I was lost in the airport construction detours and was trying to get directions, it would have been helpful to have someone at the counter pick up the phone.

I have been with Hertz for over 15 years, through the ups and downs.  I still use Hertz as my go to rental company for the exemplary service I receive. After a few rentals a any of the locations I select it seems that everyone knows me based on the time that I chose to pick up my rentals. Which makes for a warm familiar environment where one is certain to be well catered to. 
The location at LaGuardia is at the top of my list based on the convenience to my living location in Manhattan.  Even with all the construction that is taking place at the airport I still find that it is a smooth operation acquiring great cars for rentals and the staff are super efficient.

It was a great experience besides having to take two shuttles to location. so if you have a flight to catch you want to get your self an extra 45 mins when leaving out of that airport if you have to drop off any rental car. There are great cars to chose from besides that.

Not even able for my one ⭐️, even the customer service deserves the -5 star reason don't help with
Or what kind of stuff u looking for in the last a long delay to speak with someone. No doubt I always like the Hertz. But I will never be back at this location.

Used to rent from Hertz all the time both for business and vacation travel but that was definitely my last time. 
I reserved a car via Priceline to pick up at LGA. My flight was delayed and we didn't get to the counter until about 1am. When I gave them my license the agent told me that I was on a 'don't rent list' but since it was after hours she could not give me a reason why (she said it could be a computer error, a late payment or any other reason). I offered to pay a high deposit but they wouldn't budge insisting on stranding me in the middle of the night...
I still have no idea why they decided to blacklist me.... I called the corporate office the next day and after long waits and several transfers they were not able to tell me either. They kept saying 'I see no problem here' 
Well, now they are definitely on my "don't rent from" list. I will lobby hard with my company to cancel the partnership to make sure this doesn't happen again to me or my co-workers.
