The lady at the counter tonight was so rude to my wife and I but was extremely nice to the other people of her race that were in the store. I had called earlier in the day and was told I had a car reserved and was ok to pick it up but that wasn’t the case she said they were out and that it wasn’t her problem I will never return to this location I have never felt so discriminated

Avis is my first stop when I look for car rentals. The same folks have assisted me there for years (always a good sign).
Casual, but by no means unprofessional! 

Once I had a car that looked very clean, but once inside I noticed very strong cigarette smoke...No questions asked (other than:”Really?”) and I got another car.

They gave me a great car; were clean in explaining all charges, and did not slyly try to include insurance (which I have been a victim of, at Enterprise in Baltimore; maybe it was just that outlet...). The price was on par with Kansas City rates, I felt. Renting from the airport seems to be cheaper though if that works for you! But I have read bad reviews about the service there.
