Our stay at Squaw valley was very pleasant. The staff was great from beginning to end. We were greeted at the front desk by a super fun and friendly woman who's name escapes me, I believe it was Alice but I'm uncertain. She helped us check in and even gave us ideas of what to do in the valley/lake in detail and gave us directions on how to get there. The view from our room faced the street but the mountains and view were beautiful. In the morning we decided to hike the Shirley trail and it was amazing. Getting to hike alongside the waterfalls just made it all the more memorable. We're already planning out trip up there for next year!

Really beautiful and mice place. Visited off season so it was a bit empty but there were friendly staff - also in the nearby Starbucks. The trip also included a little visit from a local bear :)

Plenty of space in the suite, all kitchen equipment available and best of all, a fireplace. Excellent stay.

Nicely appointed and comfortable room, beautiful mountain setting. Very inviting warm lagoon-type hot tub. Village is largely deserted this time of year (mid-June). Will head up the mountain on the Gondola tomorrow.
