Went up for skiing at Squaw Valley, weather was not good for us, and staying at the Cottage Inn helped put lots of fun in our trip.  Breakfast was fantastic each morning and we had lots of fun socializing with the guests from all over the country.  We liked it so much we targeted Happy Hour each night at 5:00, brought extra food, and skipped going out for dinner.  Gracious host, and great staff.

When you hear rustic you think old and broken, not this place! New, updated, cozy and cute place to stay. Gourmet food and socialable staff. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back. Worth every penny!

Where to start?
AMAZING PLACE!
Beautiful, cozy, clean, relaxing.
Excellent service! Susie and her crew will go above and beyond to make your stay awesome!
Did I mention breakfast? Or the snacks at 5pm? Delicious.
And the themed rooms? Each one is different and unique with amazing details.
You can tell and will appreciate when the owner takes care of every detail.

Great place with friendly staff! Felt like a fairytale cottage and the free breakfast was amazing. They also have a happy hour with snacks and wine and movies to borrow. I can't say enough good things about this place!
