Historic restaurant and lodge on the banks of the Truckee River with dining and drinks. Make a weekend of it in one of our 19 lodge rooms with views over the river. We are located just minutes from Tahoe City, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts.

This cozy restaurant is a North Lake Tahoe staple after a day at skiing at Alpine or Squaw. The hot bourbon cider drink is delicious and the fries always hit the spot. The seasonal salad is a nice surprise. Burger is overrated, and Nachos if you're with a big group and very hungry!

A great spot for drinks or a tasty meal or even a romanic dinner. Check out the nachos, they've been a local favorite ever since the nachos craze began in the 80's.

A great place in winter for a meal or drink by the fire while looking out over the snowy Truckee river. Summertime on the patio is great.

Perfect. The food, the service, the drinks and the killer patio on the river. Did the mention the bartenders, 5 stars to them.

We have been going to River Ranch for years and made it our New Year’s Eve place to have a great dinner and drinks. The server was rude, spilled water on my son and didn’t apologize. We didn’t get our table we reserved when another group who walked in got it. Sad to see such a great place have workers who are rude and don’t care we went out of way and drove 1 hour to be there. Hope they can address the one bad server to make it great again!
