Central to all the action! Ideal location for walking to many of the attractions Manhattan has to offer. Proximity to Macy's flagship store is great (1.5 blocks) if you have a lot of packages to carry. Front desk staff and concierge (sic) very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet changes offer a bit every day and staff attending the breakfast work to keep items stocked and tables clear. This is good as it has limited seating and it can be busy at times. The street front patio is a great place to rest your feet or meet others in your party. Lounge offers limited food menu and is located at rear so it's quiet. Typical room size for a Manhattan hotel but they manage to fit the amenities in. This was our second stay at the hotel, both being 5 days in length. Will stay here again on our next visit to Manhattan. Suggest a larger (executive) room if you have lots of luggage or host others. Higher up or rear of hotel if you want quiet at night/no street noise.

This stay was so extremely comforting. The room was spacious for being in Herald Square. The location was wonderful and easy to get to the theater district and times square. You felt safe walking the streets. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was extremely helpful. Bebe at three front desk was so patient and helpful. The door man found us a great cab for a great price. The bartender stayed open for us and was kind. I will stay here again and will recommend it to all my friends.

We were so impressed with the staff at this hotel, in particular, Joshua at the front desk, the maintenance man and the man cleaning our rooms on September 3rd, 2017. My sister lost a very important ring getting ready to leave the hotel, the maintenance man took her back to the room to check, it was being cleaned the two gentleman and my sister checked everywhere but couldn't find it. The maintenance man went through the garbage cans in the ladies rooms off the lobby and Joshua was coordinating all the efforts and assured us that they would continue looking and contact us if they found it. As we were waiting to take off my phone rang and it was Joshua who excitedly told me the man cleaning the room found the ring that had dropped into the towels. He made arrangements to have a family member who had not yet checked out bring the ring home. The staff at this hotel is just amazing, every single person we encountered was friendly, pleasant and engaged with every guest, they couldn't be more helpful with directions and assistance getting a car to the airport. A staff of this caliber reflects back on the management, which in the case of this hotel must be top notch, they all represent Best Western well. My family and I would stay here again without hesitation!

Our first stay at this property was during Thanksgiving 2013. We were stunned by the room size but being so close to the parade route more than made up for it. Well, Macy's too! :) Since our initial stay, we made this our preferred hotel property. The following Thanksgiving we had a huge room with a giant window. If we twisted our heads just right we could see the balloons in the parade. LOL The staff has always been friendly. Rooms clean! If you like plenty of room ask for a larger room ... I believe they call it a presidential king.

I have stayed at the Best Western Premier Herald Square twice in the past nine months. I would highly recommend it. The location is great, near many attractions. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has baggage check. You can leave your luggage before check in and after check out. This visit we arrived at noon and our room was ready. The rooms are small but well appointed. Everything was clean. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom has the usual amenities and then some. The breakfast was hot and cold and there was lots of food. It is a small room though and it was very crowded. It took a while to get food, not great if you are in a hurry. The staff was friendly and they were working hard. Overall we had a really good experience and will be back.
