Wonderful! They did an exceptional job - thankfully my dog did not have a life or death situation but we did not know that until after he was treated. The staff was thorough and prompt in their preventive care in what thankfully only turned out to be a very swollen paw from an insect sting! They treated a panicked dog mom with respect and they did an excellent job of explaining everything that was happening and all of the procedures! I highly recommend them to any pet parents!!

From the moment I walked in the door everyone was so kind. They focused on finding out what was wrong with my dog and treating him the best they could. I was not able to take my dog home and we had to put him down. It was the hardest decision of my life but yet they helped make it the easiest decision. I knew I didn't want my dog to suffer and they helped ease my pain by being so kind, patient and caring. Thank you Dr. Warshaw for your excellent "bedside" manner. I will forever be grateful for your tender caring spirit. RIP my sweet Tank!

Worst veterinary experience I have ever had. They will hide behind being a "specialty" hospital when they charge you 3-4 times as much money to repeat the same procedures your vet already performed. Literally, line item by line item, from drug costs (same drugs) to lab costs - things that are irrelevant from an expertise standpoint - were 3-4 times more expensive, and are "necessary" for the specialist to perform in order to maybe figure out what's wrong so they can then actually charge you for their legitimate expertise for surgery. And don't expect the staff to be friendly, hit or miss at best. On top of that, our dog left this facility in significantly more pain than when he went in for testing, pain that has persisted throughout the following day to the point where he can no longer put any weight on his leg and yelps any time he changes position. I understand paying more for actual expertise, and have dealt with emergency and specialty hospitals in the past with much more satisfying results. And if Vanessa the manager offers to call you back to discuss your visit with you, don't expect anything but defensiveness and talking points about how they are a specialty hospital and your concerns are irrelevant. Not worth wasting your time talking to her, it will just raise your blood pressure.

On 12-31-17 my Service Dog Baby (Pug) acted like she had a stroke. I took her to Blue Pearl. They told me the cost would be $500-$800. The vet Simons Schuhtmann was wonderful and beautiful. She saw Baby brought her out to me, I was on a walker. She carried Baby to our car and put her in my arms gave me a med script and did not charge us any thing.if you need a good vet I recommend this vet. GOD BLESS HER.

While everyone was courteous, I was very upset with the outcome of my visit. I brought in a recently rescued kitten, Paisley, a beautiful polydactyl, with what I believed to be an ear infection. She developed a bad head tilt and was walking in circles. She was brought in the back for an exam. I was NOT present. Never have I had a vet do an exam unattended by the owner. The veterinarian on duty Dr. Joanna Rhodes told me that she would have to be euthanized. The reasoning was due to the fact that she previously had been ferile before her rescue and she likely had one of many incurable diseases or one to expensive to cure. I told her that I really thought it was just an ear infection due to the drainage from her ear, but what did I know, I'm no veterinarian. They took her back again, and said oh yeah that now they do think it's an ear infection. I point blank asked what I could do. I asked simply if "roughly" it would be $500 or more to get her fixed up. She told me yes, and that my best course of action was to release her to the Pet Resource Center for treatment (where she volunteers) and Paisley would be adopted out when healthy. This cost me $100. Mind you this is after they tell me I have to euthanize my cat and then they changed the story to you need to release her because you can't afford the treatment anywhere. So moral of the story, I got a second opinion. $165 later at another veterinarian Paisley got examined, had a simple ear infection, and received all of her necessary medicine. She is now doing great!
