Uber it here to rent.  You'll save serious money over a 3-5 rental. Quick service, no lines and gas station next door when you return it.

I am sorry I have to give this Budget location even one star. My experience was so terrible, I took the following steps:
 Filed a consumer complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office by going to "Request Assistance" on the website. It was easy to fill out. Please do the same. The more complaints the AG gets about this place, the more likely they will investigate its fraudulent business practices.
 Filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Instructions to file the complaint are on their website.
 Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Boston. Budget will ignore the inquiry, but it will give them a bad BBB rating.
Emailed the owner, James Guide. His business card is at the location.
 Called Budget Customer Service and demanded they reverse the "no show" charge. The fact that they agreed without arguing is evidence they know the charge is fraudulent.
 Filed a complaint with Budget.
On May 19, 2017, I used my credit card to reserve a 16 foot truck for my daughter's move from Boston to Knoxville. I was concerned about all of the bad reviews for this location, so I called back and spoke to Michael, the manager. I explained my concerns and told him I had to be sure the truck would be there on my pick-up date (June 3) because we had scheduled movers for that day. Michael said he "guaranteed" I would have the truck because he would make a big commission from a long distance rental like mine, so he would personally make sure I got my truck. He assured me the bad reviews were from people moving locally who reserved at the last minute. Like a fool, I believed his lies. I called this Budget location at 8:00 am on June 3rd and told them we would be there within the hour. The employee, Dillon, stated that they had our 16 foot truck; however, when I arrived at my pick-up time, Dillon informed me nonchalantly that he had just rented my truck to someone else. He shrugged off my anger and said it was "first come, first serve". Dillon at no time offered any apologies for putting our carefully planned move in jeopardy. When I told him I would write them a bad review, Dillon just laughed and said they did not care, "we get plenty of those." I finally ended up renting a truck at Uhaul, with no help from the Allston Budget Rental people. To top it off, they charged the credit card, which reserved my nonexistent truck, a $50 "no show" fee. The manager and everyone who works at this Budget location are a bunch of lying, unprofessional, unethical, dishonest thieves. They will promise you anything to convince you to do business with them. The truth is, reserving a vehicle with a credit card at this location merely enters you into a vehicle lottery, because they don't want you to know they have very few vehicles to rent. They overbook each vehicle. Most importantly: DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS! They make their money by charging "no show" fees to the lottery losers, who not only do not get the rental vehicle they thought they reserved, they get to pay $50 for the privilege of having to find another rental at the last minute. Believe the many bad reviews and rent from anyone but these crooks.

Terrible location that overbooks reservation and sends you on a wild goose chase to other locations to find a truck they didn't have. 

Showed up with reservation for 16' moving truck and they didn't have any trucks. Guy at counter said he had 9 more reservations that morning and no trucks. He called his manager and sent us 15 miles away to another Avis/Budget store saying just tell them "I have a reservation to pick up".

Worker at other store didn't have a truck, couldn't find a transferred reservation and said they did the same thing last month. Only option was to call the corporate reservation line whose customer service can't do anything other than have a manager call you back in 1-2 hours. Poor service locally and corporate. Avoid.

Be careful with this guys, they are LIAR!!!.They will say  pay this amount  and then they will give some other wrong info . But once you returned it will be overcharge. 
Michel or James ,  or their manager Dave , they DON"T CARE WHO YOU ARE !  THEY WILL SAY , GO WHERE EVER YOU GO!
