Absolutely terrible. I was lied to by the rep at pickup...name Marisol. I upgraded for 10 dollars a day but was told that for a one time charge of 13.50, my deductible would be covered. It was really 13.50 a day. Upon return the rep told me that Marisol talks fast and I misunderstood and didn't read the fine print. This occurred in Bloomington Illinois at the airport.

I have been to many airports and rented a lot of cars, but never met someone as nice as the service rep Jim who offered to stay 2 hours after closing to make sure my mother could get her rental after the airline's delayed her flights all day long.  Rare to exceed my expectations. Wow.

The only thing that was good was the price, but what a hassle!   We get there and the clerk explains how the car we choose was the most uncomfortable car ever.   She sends us to look at other cars, without mentioning the significant difference in price.  Waste of time.

We rented the car to travel across country but no one checked that it needed an oil change.  Additionally their reservation system online is messed up and allowed us to make a reservation for 11pm.  We go to drop the car off, and the whole airport closed at 10 pm.  After hours of driving, and exhausted we are walking around the building trying to find the drop box that the customer service says is available.  Finally after about 30 minutes of dealing with a clueless customer service we are told we better contact them first thing in the morning to make sure we aren't charged an additional fee and the car is our responsiblity to return first thing in the morning.   They said it was a glitch in their computer but offered us no extension, no refund, not even an apology.  A real pain!   

Half the time we were actually dealing with AVIS, so I would say either one of those companies are an epic fail.   Beware just use another service please.
