Called ahead to see if I could be 30 min late, 545 return. I was told yes. What I was not told was dropping it off at 615 = an extra day because they closed at 6, put the keys in the drop box. Saw the new charge, called back, lady says well all you asked was if it was OK and it is. I explained to her that if I had known there would be the extra charge. She reverted to, you didn't ask that. I answered what you asked. We have a drop box for that so you can. I replied I would have either kept the car or returned it earlier. I would not have stopped to fill gas, use the restroom etc. She asked, is this your first time renting? I said no, it's not. I thought you were helping me and instead did not fill me in on a 100+ charge. She piped up with, you should have known better. I replied, that's why I called ahead to see if she could check it in or try and drop it off sooner. The whole situation was aggravating. She had a whole bunch of attitude just answering the phone, yea this is budget, need something.

They have the loudest door chime I’ve ever heard in my life. Every time someone opened the door including me my heart literally skipped a beat.  It’s incredibly jarring.  Aside from that, staff was great.

If you are in Columbus, I 100% recommended going to the location at 1030 W 3rd Avenue! Every time I come here I get fast service, the car I want, and at a great price…even if it’s last minute! I love this place!

I would not rent from here again. The car they gave me had bald tires, and the agent said "there is a tire warning but we took it to 'Premier' and they said it was ok." I have no idea what 'Premier' is. There was a low tire pressure warning light, and a warning notice that the car was more than 8000 miles overdue for a service. Driving in the rain on these bald tires, I also discovered there was no washer fluid. I began to envision my obituary saying something like "died driving an unsafe car so he could save a few bucks at Budget."

Rented a Budget truck at 2:30 pm. Stated would return at 6 pm when they closed. Did not return until 12 pm the next day. Was charged for late fee $25. which is understandable. Was also charged for a 2 day rental of $80. when only had truck a total of 22 hours. Tacked on $8. unexplainable fee. Rep at location refused to only charge for 1 day and late fee even though had truck under 24 hours. She stated I had to call customer service. Spoke with customer service they said had to speak with location. Went back and forth on the call with no resolution. Called customer service again and they stated everything they have done is legal. It may be legal on their paperwork but it is unprofessional, unethical and morally inconsiderate to their customer. Would not rent from Budget or this location again. If you want to be highly overcharged and get the run around then this is your place of happiness.

Nice experience. They are fast and friendly. But I do not thing they have too many cars to choose from. Plus, they close very early 2:00 pm on Saturday. I asked for an economy car but they kept a compact one for me KIA which is box-like and I didn't like it. Later, I had to upgrade to an intermediate car with an extra charge of 5-6 bucks.

My car broke down and needed a rental FAST ! After search everywhere online finally landed on this location. They had a rental available for pick up in 2 hours. Arrived and Shameka was amazing! Helped me and another customer at the same time with great service! I was rented a Kia Forte in excellent condition and they honored the online deal. Rented from a Tuesday thru the following Monday based on ricarts assumption that they would have one for me then while my car was repaired. Needless to say this did not happen and shameka gladly extended my rental for another day. She was truly amazing, fast, friendly and excellent customer service both in store and on the phone. 5/5 highly recommend this location and her. Thanks budget !! Thank Shameka

Signed a contract. Declined all the extras CDW, etc. yet was billed an extra $200 for them anyway. Manager won't adjust.

Great experience. They didn’t have our car available so an upgrade was provided free of charge. Car was cleaned, but did have an odor.

Manager was friendly, rented a car for three days for a short weekend trip. More expensive than enterprise, car had mismatched tires, two in the front were bald and out of balance. Car vibrated because of unbalanced tires the entire trip. Rear passenger tire had a gash in the sidewall totally safe right, scratches all over so they couldn’t tell even if you did scratch it. Interior was not cleaned well, found trash from last renter. Only time I’ve ever used budget, wouldn't again.
