Our visit here started off rocky. Our room was not available at check-in and it took 3hrs to get our room. Really never found out the reason why so because of this I took away one star.Management made right by comping us the first night at the resort because of our inconvenience. Other than that, our stay here was very enjoyable. Great staff,excellent location, super clean and spacious rooms and a decent breakfast . Overall, we had a wonderful time and for the price you could not beat it! We will definitely be back!

I loved my stay! I came here after a terrible terrible experience with another hotel who had roaches. They knew about it and helped me out so much. The front desk was friendly. I made a new friend Ms. Tiffany! She is sweet! The hotel it literally right by the beach. Parking was a little far but I will take far parking over a dirty hotel any day! Thanks for making my trip so great! I will be going back to this hotel

We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite. View is beautiful. Giant bath tub is amazing. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Staff is friendly! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and are sad we have to leave.

The Carolinian beach resort is located on the beach. I had a ocean side view room and it was very clean when I arrived. The hotel staff were very nice and always asked if I was having a good time. The free continental breakfast was great. Tge hotel had 2 pools, a lazy river and a Jacuzzi. The parking garage was included with the room so it was nice not having to pay for parking. Also, the hotel is not too terribly far from the boardwalk. I walked everywhere I planned to visit and eat. The only complaint I have is that the room I stayed in seemed like the bed was broken. However, I still slept well and the amount of noise from other rooms was minimal.

The room was okay. It was very clean and the view was okay. The customer service, however is not good. Upon our arrival at 2pm, we were told that check-in was not until 4 pm( hotel policy, not the fault of the the front desk attendant). Both clerks seemed to hate their jobs! We were not allowed to have the valet park the car until 4, so that we could use the facility. We heard the way one clerk was speaking to customers, so we made sure to pick the other clerk. The other clerk was abrupt, but not rude, but failed to tell us that we could go across the street and play the miniature golf course for free as guests of the hotel while we waited for the 4 pm check in. When we returned at 4pm, we waited for 30 minutes to check in because of the check in policy that causes everyone to arrive at the same time. The new clerk that had started in the meantime failed to tell us that on the "club level" there would be free drinks from 5-6 pm (the valet told us about both free options). When checking out we asked if we were allowed to leave our car on the property while we enjoyed the beach for the afternoon, and the same very rude clerk from the day before told us we could leave our car in the garage until noon, then it would be towed. The hotel does not give you the option to take a cart up to the rooms yourself for luggage. This is a terrible policy. It took us 30 minutes to check out between waiting for the car from valet, to waiting for a bell hop (the valet attendant) to come up and load our bags for us. And it sucks to have to tip when you want to do a job yourself. Overall, I would probably stay here again, going in knowing that check in and out will take forever and not expecting friendly customer service. The valet attendants were the only nice people there and seemed to enjoy their jobs.
