Nice rooms that are clean and well maintained. The room I was in had been well maintained and had a great view of the ocean because we were on the top floor. The hotel is located right next to the zip line and also offers a great view of the boulevard and the happenings going on around downtown Myrtle. My only complaint is I felt it was a little pricey but we did stay during spring break. I highly recommend this hotel and plan on staying here again.

I don't give this simple Motel 5 stars because of fancy accommodations or spa treatments, it's because family-owned really comes through.  Miss Denise is the house keeping manager and she is an absolute doll! Our rooms were clean and I loved the ocean view. Rain or shine I could have stayed in front of that window forever simple blue quilts adorn the beds with crisp clean white sheets and the bathtub was a little old which means it was comfortable! I soaked in that deep tub every night. From the front desk to the maintenance people there were smiles all around.  There are two comfortable chairs outside every room so you can just sit and watch everything not just the ocean bringing pease to a stressed out mind but all the people,attractions, you name it, you can either watch or walk right into the midst of all the excitement. Last time we stayed at a resort this time was a last minute trip so we booked the Midtown with no idea we would leave feeling like one of the family, thank you Midtown and we'll see you next year!  I think we'll try the cottages!

Great location! Just a short walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. We could not have asked for a better location for the price.

The room was fine. The only suggestion would be to add a second blanket. There were just the two of us so we pulled from the other bed. For those of us who prefer not to use the heat. ;-)

Sadly, very inconsiderate guests made sleeping well both nights impossible. Slamming doors, yelling, banging....

It is hard to describe how exasperated I was by this place. To start there was a gun in the bed side table, right next to the bible of course. That was fun. While my fiance was not phased by the lack of cleanliness I was scared to place my bare feet on any flooring in the room. Had to wear my water shoes in the shower because a hole in the lining of the tub alowed stagnant water to pool. Got a nice rush of cold stagnant funk on the toes with every shower.  Bed was comfortable and equip with a very well preserved super 8 bed covering circa 1982. Worth every penny as no discount was offered despite our impressively sub par experience. Good luck!

My Husband and I stayed here for the weekend. This is one of the most cleanest hotels We have ever stayed in. May not be that luxurious but I felt comfortable and secure. Those beds are a dream I slept like a baby. Next time we will definitely be in a cottage. Midtown U Guys R Awesome.😘
