Ocean Front view best seat in the the house 1964 top floor with a balcony. Truly a work-cation sit on the balcony with your laptop just be careful it is very easy to work to hard. Peaceful, relaxing environment. Can't wait to come back. The breakfast buffet would be 5 stars if they never serve the mystery meat bolonga and they served Bacon, Sausage and Turkey versions. Service was amazing steps away from the beach completely satisfied.

Staff was friendly and our room was very nice and clean, a great view of the ocean but not of the sunrise. The pool,hot tub and  beach were all easily accessed and enjoyed
Looking forward to coming down again staying at the Strand and possibly upgrading to a suite. The only downfall is that there is no restaurant on site and the cook was off from the bar area on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Due to very poor service and accommodations. We left Compass Cove, drove down to the Strand. The deluxe King Suite was great, service was awesome and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is the bed was too firm. However, our last 2 days were very comfortable. We will choose to stay here when we travel to Myrtle beach.

My boyfriend and I stayed there for 3 days. The hotel was very good and the room was very nice and convenient. The only thing that bothered us it was the shower curtain and the bath tub which were not in a good condition and they didn’t looked clean. The breakfast fast and service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Amazing breakfast. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Enjoyed the stay so much we stayed longer.  Easy Check in. Room had ample towels and comfy bed. Our room has silverware a toaster microwave and a fridge. Small deck overlooked the beach but it was all that was needed.  Pool was warm and clean. Loved the palm tree grassy area to sip on a drink and watch the waves.  The breakfast was top notch. Bar and food on site with very reasonable prices.  Would definitely go back.

Returned and the second time wasn't as good.  The bar and grill were closed Sunday and Monday which we enjoyed having the last time we visited.  Even though we booked the same room this one was very small and we kept having issues with the toilet clogging.
