I'm not sure how to really put this into words, but I am going to try. Please do not ever send or have a referral to send your loved one to this place. They will try and keep your loved one as long as possible for insurance. It is absolutely filthy. I found my mother one morning with trash on her from where they tore open alcohol wipes along with dirty used IV needles. All in her bed. They would not bathe her. One nurse set one of meals on a dirty a linion cloth holder. This place should be shut down. Even the staff will tell you. Lets take a look at how the sick are treated in the United Staes of America.

Giving this place 1 star is far too many, I just can’t choose less. I am a nurse and understand how challenging this job can be but there is just no excuse for this place. The response time to call lights is basically non existent. RNs here feel they are above helping clean and toliet patients so people sit soiled for hours while the one CNA on staff struggles keep up. Our family spent the entire day in the room only to see the nurse once maybe twice. This was consistent for a couple weeks! They pass a few meds and do nothing in between. Thankfully we are having her transferred to a new facility tomorrow.

My mom is currently here on the 2nd floor. I was very hesitant for her to come here due to the reviews. Most of the staff seem to care about their patients. That being said, they have a poor staff to patient ratio. Their response to call buttons for needed assistance can be 30 plus minutes and that is with multiple calls. There have been times no one ever came and I just cleaned and changed my mom myself. I have taken FMLA to stay with my mom due to the concerns I had prior to her being admitted and the concerns I have had while here. I have also caught multiple things that have been wrong or been done wrong. I do not believe they have gotten her prior medical records or they have not read them. No one has gotten and taken into account a true medical history. There have been several attempts to reinvent the wheel which has been frustrating. Overall, I wish I felt more comfortable with her being here without me. The care could be much worse. No one has been malicious and I believe their negligence has not be intentional but due to not enough staff to appropriately meet patient needs effeciently. If you have to come here or send your loved one here they will be okay but will not have all of their needs met in a timely fashion and you should monitor things the best you can. Several of the physical therapy staff have been amazing. They are kind and patient. This is not the worst place but there might be better.

The nurses do their best with a large patient load. Very caring but very busy.

Second rate staff with second rate performance delivering second rate results. If you can get wound care somewhere else do it. It's a dump.
