I have stayed in several hospitals like this and this is one of the better ones. However, if you try to get a hold of someone in billing good luck. I have called four times without a call back. Every time you leave a message with a different person and they NEVER call back. I don’t know how they expect someone to pay their bill if they can’t get a hold of someone to set up a payment plan. The hospital is good for what it is but the billing department is very very unprofessional

some of the techs were rude. but overall it was pretty good. the food made me really sick though and i was throwing up all night. i asked the nurse for medication but she said that it would have to get approved my the doctor first. it was 2:00 in the morning so there’s nothing that could be done there. also the rec room smells horrible i got a headache from the horrible smell. the doctors are super nice and caring.

My child was admitted to Peak View. I received daily phone calls regarding progression. Nurses were very caring and answered all my questions. Doctor called me to discuss medications. Nurses will call to ask for permission to administer over the counter medication such as Tylenol and Miralax., etc.. My child attended after care out-patient treatment and participated in support groups and therapist meetings. My kiddo has come a long way, doing great and provided positive feedback for Peak View in-patient treatment/out-patient treatment. Patient will receive questionnaire about experience upon discharge and a phone call to parent for feedback. I wish more people would take the time to share their positive experiences. Rate 5 thumbs up.

They took care of my mom's medication issues, and she said some of the technicians and nurses were really wonderful. Technician Drea especially was really nice. Singing to the patients? Bless you. Buuut. She never even met her psychiatrist? And technicians Amy and Cat (Kat?) sound AWFUL. Amy hates people, and Cat has no empathy. Why are they in health care? They kick you out as soon as they can, for better or worse. Only reason she got to stay the whole time is she has amazing insurance. All about the $$$ I guess. HIPAA violations left and right (no privacy for intakes?), understaffed, lack of available therapists. Seems like they need help.

My son (he is a minor) was placed at peak view by his therapist and due to suicidal thoughts they were required by law to keep him 72 hours. Everyday he was in the the facility (ended up being there 6 days) I received at least 2-3 calls a day to keep me updated. All of the nurses were so nice to both me and my son - he said they were great there. The only reason I rated a 4 instead of 5 was because the gal at the front desk was always extremely rude and unprofessional. But my son is still battling depression and always says he would be willing to stay at peak view anytime.
