This is my favorite local hospital. They were very kind to me and my husband. Robin, Darlene, Dr Griffiths and Mr Francis are the best. The cafeteria was tiny but they have great food and the free drinks were nice.

My experience here was good the first time. After being treated poorly elsewhere, I thought well this place actually cares. Wrong. I suffer from kidney stones and recently finally had a procedure to break one down to passable pieces. I had hell getting into urology because of a couple missed ultrasound appointments they refused to see me. So ER visits became a ongoing go to when I'm passing a stone or experiencing colic. I was on a trip in Minnesota and the urology there did imaging to find I had an obstruction. I returned home with pain from lithotripsy and returned to this ER and got treated like a "drug seeker" upon my second visit here. Dr.Mensing treated me terribly. The nurses and tech was nice though. Upon my discharge I could hear her down the hall say "as far as I'm concerned she's discharged" very rudely. Didn't even question me about my medical history or why I've had to go to the ER many times just assumed and even said "this raises my flags" I was like what?! I do not recommend this place for anyone who has real pain and suffering. This lady should have her license revoked for how she treats people and yelling down the hall about my discharge is completely unprofessional.

After a traumatic fall in my home, I found myself with several fractures and pneumonia and my health was declining rapidly.  After the insistence of my children to try Colorado Canyons Hospital & Medical Center, I immediately knew I was receiving the best care I have ever received in my 40 years of living in the Grand Valley.   
 
Because the team of doctors, nurses and therapists communicated so well with not only each other, but with myself and family, my healing process accelerated and surpassed all expectations.   I was so impressed with how well everyone worked together, they knew all about my care and needs.

After having been approved for a medical procedure, they decided to not allow the Dr to do the procedure because they wanted to wait and see how much money the insurance company was going to pay. When called to the carpet, they said ' it's not about the money

The doctors were great, super competent.  My main doctor was clearly experienced and had a great bedside manner.  The nurses were super as well.
