Two thumbs up. Was serviced 20 min before my Visa application appointment, and was out in less than 5min. Very efficient.

If I could give a minus star I would. The service is extremely poor specially if you need any phone information. If you live in SD as I do, and need to travel to LA to apply for anything - Good luck because no one would speak to you on the phone to clarify some of your questions... prior to your arrival.
Way to Go to represent Brazil! Not Surprised at all!

This is the best experience I've ever had at an Embassy! The place is very organized,clean and they have signs directing you to where you need to go all over the place. As soon as you step out of the elevator there are signs, telling where you need to be! Impossible to miss it!!!!! There are two receptionists and they get harassed by foreigners who wants Visa, I've seen it happened while I as there getting my Brazilian brochures! People go to their window and start yelling at them because they can't get appointments!!!! It's crazy! I'm surprise this people are even allowed in the building in the first place, I mean, if you do not have a visa appointment you should not be allowed to enter the Consulate, at least that's  how it is at most Consulates I've been. The Consulate's website is VERY CLEAR about  Visa instructions also automated message is very clear as well "they do not talk to anyone only by e-mail". Visas are not dealt in person only on the website, this is very clear!!!! I dunno why people even bother to go there to talk to receptionists!!!! Everything was very smooth I've applied online, could not get an appointment, so I've emailed the Visa department was able to get it, came in had an interview and picked up my VISA a day later! No need to talk to anyone because they are instructed to not talk to you  as it is stated on the website!!!!!!! Just do everything online DO NOT WASTE TIME GOING THERE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT AND TO  PUSH THEM TO GIVE YOU AN APPOINTMENT IT AIN'T HAPPENING!! After I was done I went to the reception and the receptionist, SUPER FRIENDLY, beautiful and nice gave me brochures of Brazil. She gave me detailed information about Brasil and Rio and handed me a brochure. Then while she was giving me information I saw this guy yelling at the other receptionist guy because he wanted a VISA! Finally after a couple minutes the man had to be removed from the building! Good job Brazilian Consulate! Great job to the charming receptionist lady!!!!

This palce is just like brasil nothing works, computer clich all the time they act like nothing is important just a bunch of idiotas ,i being trying to renew my passport for months now ,i had to fly to see the consoul of brasil in honolulu from maui because of they computer problems still not fix  ,
