We are Delta, The Educated Plumber, serving all your plumbing needs in the greater Atlanta area since 1974. A family owned and operated company, As "The Educated Plumber" we employ a team of highly educated and licensed plumbers with over 100 hours of training and continuing education each year.

Education and customer satisfaction are very important to us. We do our best to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their service and every job comes with a guarantee. We follow a standardized "up front" pricing format so our billing is completely paperless. We go the extra mile to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction by offering our customers with a "preferred customer service agreement." This agreement consists of a complete inspection of your entire plumbing system, a complete flush of your water heater, a treatment of all drains with an environment friendly enzyme, leak tests on all toilets, preferred pricing and preferred "front of the line" scheduling.

Delta Plumbing exemplifies great customer service. I scheduled an appointment to have the septic tank at my parents' house pumped. Despite the great work performed, we ran into an issue with a pricing discrepancy. The professionals at Delta Plumbing responded immediately with an apology and a solution. I highly recommend Delta Plumbing. It's rare to find a company that operates with such sincere integrity.

Delta Plumbing - and especially Brian Jackson - have definitely come through for me in 2017! I first called for a water heater replacement/upgrade, which Brian handled really well despite the challenge of fitting in tight quarters. I called for Brian again to replace/upgrade the original junction valve and fixtures for shower/tub combos in 2 bathrooms [one to fix a leak, the other to be preventative]. Prices for each job were estimated and explained in advance, and were certainly reasonable. But most importantly, Brian was great to deal with and did a terrific all around job taking care of things!

Disappointed and Disgusted..... I noticed there was water leaking near my water heater, so I called Monday night and a journeyman was sent out first thing Tuesday morning. I was advised by the receptionist and the journeyman that there is a $35 service call. When he arrived he saw there was water around and near the water heater so he went to his truck to get his water detector. He then offered to put three (3) holes in the wall to see if he could find the source of the water. The most holes he could place in the wall is three (3). All three (3) holes were cut above the water heater and not down at the bottom of the wall where the drywall was soaking wet with water. He then advised me the cost for the three holes is $220. He then stated I needed a new water heater in the amount of $1855 and provided me with a detailed handwritten estimate. I declined the service. After paying for the service I still was not comfortable with the problem being my water heater. I personally removed the soaking wet drywall and installation and found the culprit - a pipe in the wall had burst. I shared my experience with the manager and he did offer to send someone else out to fix the water pipe. I did decline his offer as I was not satisfied with the service received by the first technician. And I could kick myself for those ridiculously priced holes at $73.33 per hole. Unfortunately, I will not use their service again. Happy Holidays!!

Jerry was my Plummer.....He had a great disposition immediately when meeting him. The information that he provided was easy to understand and helpful to me as a first time homeowner. His smile was infectious and his honesty was apparent when doing his job. I will be contacting Delta again and will be asking for Jerry!

Want to get RIPPED OFF big time? Then call Delta The Educated Plumber. Well educated on how to take advantage of people. Needed my septic tank pumped, so I called the Delta Educated Plumber after seeing a 5+ rating at the BBB. When I called I was given a price of $149 for basic pumping and was told that if needed maintenance is necessary, I will be charged a little extra. They even offer a senior/military discount and I thought that'll be a better deal. I immediately schedule a service and when they arrived, they open up my tank and said: "Bad news! Too many solids. We only have 2 options (1) $1,1,47 regular and (2) $1,199 deluxe (both w/ the so called senior/military discount of 10 percent)." So, I chose option 1 which is $1,147.00. After the job was done, I signed the credit card charge electronically and they told me that I will be furnished a copy of the invoice through email. When I received the email, the crew's gone. After I saw the breakdown, I feel RIPPED OFF. The breakdown is as follows: Pumping - 184.00 Excessive solids - 545.00 Baffle tee replacement 454.25 Bio clean - 69.00 Less discount 125.02 Total 1,157.23 To install a PVC TEE, (which isn't necessary) takes less than 30 minutes and materials cost less than $50 - they charge $454.25. This outfit is highly unethical as far as I'm concerned. 5+ rating at BBB????????? I don't know how especially after reading some of the review
