I first met Dr. Forstner -Barthell with an unusual problem, pelvic floor dysfunction. It was such a relief to discuss openly my issues and following her instructions improving one area of my problems. She was so sincere and supportive listening to me. Even more, she had empathy for what I live with and was very knowledgeable about this mainly unknown disorder and the devastating effects of this.

She is GREAT!!! told me exactly what to expect - and the first few days after were a bit sore - but OMG - life now is sooooooo much better. I will tell everyone to see Dr. Forstner.......THANK YOU SO MUCH DR.....you and your staff were AWESOME!!!!!!! I will recommend you to Everyone!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Forstner for several years now and I must say, she is the best. Dr. Forstner is very kind, and does not make you feel that she is rushing. Dr. Forstner has been providing me with excellent care and I recommend her often. J Sampson. Patient

I have nothing but high praise for both Dr. Forstner-Barthell. She was very patient, understanding, and professional. I liked that she took the time to really explain what was going on, what needed to be done, and what to expect. She ordered imaging when other's had dismissed a large lipoma for years. The imaging went on to reveal a lesion that she removed during my then needed colonoscopy, and it turned out to be precancerous. Colon cancer isn't something you associate with a 34 year old, but she didn't dismiss anything because of my age. I credit her thoroughness with saving my life. I will be going back in a year for a another colonoscopy and there's no one else I would rather have digging around my colon than Dr. Forstner-Barthell. :-) My high praise extends to her admin and medical staff as well. Scheduling is always easy. Everyone is very professional and polite. I was referred for genetic counseling and when the referral office hadn't contacted me after a couple weeks, the scheduler made the call and wouldn't get off the phone with their office until I had an appointment confirmed. The admin staff actually noticed a refund on my account within days of it being credited (insurance paid more than expected) and let me know the fastest way to get the check from their billing department. No hassle, I had a check within a week. I also LOVED that when I had a follow-up question (never fails that I'll think of something after I'm out of the office) I would call and actually speak with the medical assistant. She would pick up the phone! No voice-mail tag. You won't be disappointed with this doctor or her office staff.

Canceled my procedure after getting yelled at by the scheduler. No thanks! Dr & the gals in the front office were all fine. Scheduler was rude, zero cust Svc skills, unprofessional, and yelling at me for the confusion she created. Ive never had a conversation like that with any Dr's office staff in my life. The form she gave me was only half the information I needed to secure my ride before/after the procedure. Im being responsible and called to clarify time + other Q. The conversation went south quickly. She first asked me what is my appmnt time. I read from the paper she gave me. I said Appmnt time is 8:30. To which she said "No!there is no 8:30 apmt that day!". I said ok I am just reading the form you gave me. In bold letters it says Appmnt Time and you wrote 8:30AM. It also says I will be done 2 hours from Appmnt time, which would be 10:30 according to the form you gave me. Is that incorrect? She said "NO! The procedure time is 10:00! I TOLD YOU WHEN YOU WERE HERE THAT WAS CHECK IN time!" Omg😳 Wow really?! 1. I was in the office 4 wk ago. 2. I thought we receive forms so that we can read it at home instead of remembering all the verbal details! When I said this to her she said I was the first patient who had a problem with that. 3. It says in bold letters Apomnt time and I'm just reading what it says. Omg. i said I'm just trying to secure a ride, and do everything right that day! She continued to speak over me yelling. If she had simply written C/I time 8:30, Appmnt 10:00, be done 2 hours from appmnt time, that would be clear. But she wrote 8:30 as the Appmnt time which is wrong. She blamed me for not knowing "what she meant". Lol What?!?! Are u serious?! I was appauled. I am the patient. Im calling to clarify. It's her job to help the patient with precisely these details. No thanks, pass!
