I had a leaking/ loose toilet. Will K came over and fixed it. it has been three weeks now. I waited before I post the review to make sure there is no leak. He did a great job. I really recommend Will K. He was very professional and made sure everything is working right and clean before he left.

UPDATE: Exactly as expected, the owner has come on and aggressively attacked me for posting my negative experience - exactly what he does with every negative review - see for yourself. He also decided to shamelessly lie, accusing me of being racist and slinging racial insults at his so-called plumber. The fact that it would even pop into his head to take things in that direction makes me wonder what kind of racist thoughts he harbors (by the way, my wife is African American, so it would be an awfully awkward dynamic if I were in fact a racist!). As further proof that my review contained valid negative feedback, see attached invoice from a competitor I had to hire to fix Edwards mess. ORIGINAL POST: I paid these guys $2,700 only to have them send one inexperienced plumber to my house. That plumber incorrectly installed two shower valves (out of three total), and failed to crimp multiple fittings which resulted in countless leaks. Plus there were numerous rough-ins at the wrong height - just not what you expect when paying top dollar for a "professional" plumber. When I spoke to the plumber about the mistakes, he became aggressive and told me to "F off" before storming out of my house. This was on day 8 of what was supposed to be a 2-3 day piece of work (guy had no idea what he was doing). The office kept promising they would send another plumber, but they never followed through. I had to hire another plumbing company to come in and clean their mess. Just to show exactly how scummy they are, their office refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing in the end, and when I disputed their charge with my credit card company, they sent a one page letter to the credit card company alleging that I had tried to fight their plumber, and littered with a number of other lies trying to keep my $2,700. Total scumbags - do not let them into your house - I wish I would have heeded the warnings in the other negative reviews. If you need more proof of the type of customer service you'd get from Edwards, just skim through their responses to any negative reviews below - they immediately go on the attack whenever anyone has an issue!

CALL ANYONE ELSE BUT THIS FIRM -- TRUST ME. This is not a professional service. For a very basic job changing fawcett washers, the man arrived without proper tools, NO fawcett washers or any other necessary parts. Worst of all, he had basically no idea what he was doing and I had to monitor and guide him step by step through the entire job with my own parts and some of my own tools. For that, I got the pleasure of paying $180. BEWARE

Dave D from the start was hands down the best plumber i have worked with. He was genuinely honest and his sense of urgency to rectify the problem impressed my wife and I. I own two homes and have worked with several plumbers. Props to Edwards Plumbing for having a 24 hour answering service because the three other plumbers we called prior went straight to voicemail. 1/4th of our basement flooded due to a failed sump pump. He couldnt take care of the job on the spot because it was 9pm and sump pump provider wasnt open. The next day the new sump pump was picked up and installed within a few hours by Dave D. I recommend water master SP-4 sump pump. The old pump lasted 40 years and they do provide a warranty. Michigan made product. Now my basement is prepared for years to come.

Heat failed at 9 Friday night at my niece's home with lows heading to the single digits and two infants under 6 months in the house. Called Edwards, they couldn't get anyone out until between midnight and 3 a.m., but it would save me a trip downriver. Woke up at 8 and called my niece. Edwards never called, never showed up. I packed up my tools. Had the access panel off and narrowed it down to the igniter control board or maybe the igniter when Edwards called at 10. They could have someone there in 30 minutes. Decided I'd rather pay someone than fix this myself, so left it for the technician. The technician was polite and efficient and said it was the igniter control board... and he couldn't fix it because he didn't have a board and their suppliers were all closed for New Years. They could get the part on Tuesday... this was Saturday. I suggested he check with other Edwards technicians to see if anyone else had the board... he thought that was a good idea, but no luck. In the end I had the privilege of paying Edwards $89 to tell me what I already knew so I could drive to an OPEN supply company, buy the part, and swap it out myself. The supplier is called RepairClinic... on Michigan Ave in Canton. Dear Edwards, please don't leave a customer without heat for 3 days because you don't want to drive to Canton. Your customers will pay the hourly rate for the drive if you explain it is due to the holiday... I would have. Heat is on. Six hours of my Saturday with family from out of town didn't happen because the heat failed and I called the wrong repair company for the situation.
