Avoid This Location!!!!!! My 80-year-old mother decided to move to the area to live closer to me. I was planning to use a moving truck to bring her belongings down, so I reserved a SMALL (emphasis: SMALL) SUV to drive up to her location. A size car that I knew she'd be able to easily get in/out of as we ran errands, but which would also give me extra room to bring up extra packing supplies. My reservation was for a Sunday morning. And, despite the fact that I called this location on Tuesday to confirm AND they called me TWICE that week (on Wednesday and Thursday) also to confirm, no one bothered to give me a heads up that a MARATHON was being run on that Sunday morning and would effectively shut down most streets surrounding this location. I don't live in Florence, so I had no way/reason to know about the marathon; but the staff WORK there and DEFINTIELY would've known. Basic customer service skills dictated making sure I knew, so that I could plan accordingly. Instead, I had to walk a long circuitous route from the highway exit around various blockades to reach them, all while dressed for cold weather and NOT wearing shoes intended for walking distances. When I finally arrived (45 minutes late), I was informed (not offered, informed) that they were upgrading me a HUGE SUV. (Remember the part where I'd specifically reserved a small one to make things easier for my 80-year-old mother?) I declined and explained why, but then was told that they didn't have the car I reserved or anything similar in size available; so my "choice" was between a FORCED "upgrade" to the Huge SUV or a forced downgrade to a sedan smaller than my own car. I went with the Huge SUV (to have room for the packing supplies) and had to purchase a step-stool for my mother to use to get in/out of the SUV. In sum, please DO NOT use this location!!! After I got back and relayed what happened to a co-worker, he told me he'd also had problems with this location (he was forced into an "upgrade" from a small SUV to a HUGE pickup truck). There are other Enterprise locations. Avoid this one.

This is the second time that it has taken more than 24 hours to get a rental, while having a reservation. I'm told at open, lunch, and close that there are no availabilities... that all vehicles in the parking lot are currently undriveable. Take your 20 vehicles to the mechanic, and pull vehicles from the airport. Logical solution. I am hopeful that this company will figure out how to fulfill their ONE JOB that they have failed miserably with.

Worst enterprise service I ever experienced. I reserved intermediate car (Elantra or similar) for Friday (10-13-2017) 12:30 PM. I reached on time to pick up the car. At that time intermediate car was unavailable at that time so enterprise was offering me compact SUV (KIA SOUL) which has very little trunk space to accommodate my luggage. Enterprise was stating that it's a free upgrade, but for me it is as good as downgrade (unwanted). I asked them car with similar trunk space as Elantra, but they said if I want to upgrade the car I need to pay more. Why should I pay more when I reserved a car at least a month in advance. That was really horrible experience for me with enterprise as I rented a car from another car rental provider, causing me delay to begin journey by 3 hours. I had similar experience 1 month ago from same location. I will not rent a car from enterprise in future. Giving single star as there is no option for 0 star.

Just don't do it. I work nearby, someone hit my car and totaled it in October, so I went to Enterprise to rent a car until insurance resolved things. I signed papers, was told the daily amount of the car. State Farm (the insurance of the driver who hit my car) agreed to pay a month for my rental. After I needed to keep the car an extra week while car shopping (during which time Enterprise aggressively attempted to get me to buy one of their cars), I asked how much the rate would be and was told in the $30 a day range. When I dropped the car off, I was told staunchly "you signed the waiver" and charged over $1,000 more for insurance (despite me asking repeatedly how much I would owe beforehand and it being over doubly the daily amount I was being told) and on top of what State Farm had already paid. Was it legal? Probably in fine print. Was it ethical? No. Kerry Automotive across the street rents cars, is honest, and would have explained that in the end I'd have owed an extra $1,000 and options to avoid it. I write this now because I had no such problem with Hertz on a recent business trip, and avoided the Enterprise desk at the airport like the plague.

Staff is professional and friendly. Staffing levels have been low for months, which more often than not translates to longer wait times. Rental car selection is somewhat limited and condition of vehicles is often less than optimal; premium cars are virtually non-existent and I have never rented a vehicle in which the seats were not stained. The parking lot at the Florence Merchant Street (Florence West) location is tight and has been the location of at least two fender benders since I've been renting there in the last year. The lots at the Burlington Pike and Dry Ridge locations are horrible--avoid if at all possible. Again, the Florence West team is a professional operation--they'll be a 5-star op once they correct the vehicle cleanliness, wait time, and to a lesser degree, the lot space issues.
