The Charleston International Airport crew provided excellent service from car pickup to drop off. They should be made aware that this customer appreciated their superb delivery of customer service.

INSIDE: The desk agent was extremely professional, courteous and efficient. As I was leaving to go to the pickup point, he finished the transaction with a handshake. That has never happened in decades of travel for business and pleasure!

OUTSIDE: I very much appreciated that Enterprise cars are right outside the exit from the booking area. The lot crew were personable, courteous and had us in a car in under five minutes. The Camry was prepared well: clean inside and out; mechanically, no issues for the week we drove it.

RETURN:  Again, drop-off is right outside the terminal door: bonus. Easy to complete the rental on the back end in under five minutes. Receiving agent took the time, before our arrival, to match a first name to a returning car. Result: I was welcomed by first name upon exiting the car. A very cordial and smart touch on his part.

Renting a car from Enterprise was a pleasure.  The agent who assisted me in renting my car (at the airport at my destination) was efficient, professional and personable.  The person who met me in the rental lot was pleasant and helpful, allowing me to look at a couple of cars before I chose one and putting my luggage in the trunk of the car I chose.  The car was enjoyable to drive - it was not a stripped down model but one with amenities, even though I did not chose the most luxurious rental.  The return was quick and easy and the agent who accepted my return took my luggage out of the trunk and brought it into the terminal for me. I am now loyal to Enterprise and would not think of renting from another rental car company in the future.

Normally I have favorable interactions with this enterprise and most enterprises in general. My most recent visit was less than favorable. I set a reservation at that airport so I could pick up a car and hit the road once my flight landed. Usually I'm able to use my debit card for payment as long as it's accompanied by a flight itinerary showing that I'll be flying back out from the same airport. Since I have that option available to me and my budgeting effort includes only traveling with the minimum amount of plastic on me, I prefer to use this location. 
My last visit however, all of this changed. I get to the counter and present the usual ID, debit card, and itinerary and the representative looks at my card and ID suspiciously then tells me she'll be right back. She goes in the back and consults the manager then returns to let me know they no longer allow same state residents to use debit cards. I think that information would be helpful at the time of placing the reservation, but who am to criticize their business rules. So I take my cards back and call a non-airport location and ask for transportation to their location and I'm told that I can't get transportation from the airport because they have a branch there. So now I'm forced to take an Uber from the airport 20 minutes away to another rental location and I was 2 hours late getting on the road. It could've all been so simple.

I was able to pick up my car very quickly, with no hassle or problem.  Very helpful staff, they even gave me a snow brush / ice scraper to use during my rental, (Vermont). They had all my info on file, and emailed me my receipt. They also allow my spouse to drive the vehicle for no extra charge. I will definitely use them again.

Flew into Charleston SC -had reserved a car so went to the desk to fill out the paperwork which took less than five minutes. Walked to the car which was about 100 feet from the terminal door. Had selected the Enterprise select option -a clean Ford Fusion was ready to go -  packed the car and were on the road in less than 5 minutes. Same on return two weeks later - parked the  car in the return zone (6AM) , left the keys at the desk. Got an email receipt about two hours later. No hassle, reasonable cost, great deal.
