First time renting from Hertz, I was hesitant to based on the google reviews.  I normally rent from enterprise, but I needed a van with some room, hertz was half the price.  I booked the van online a month in advance (this will make paperwork faster and easier), the week before my pickup of the vehicle, I received a email and the day before a call directly from Hertz in Beaufort confirming my reservation.  Hertz in Beaufort is located on the 1st floor of a collision auto repair company, just park in the small parking lot next to it, enter in the side door, not a big office so be patient and prepare to wait a little bit if other people are there.  Marcus helped me, was very professional and helpful, he thanked me for my patients, walked me around the vehicle for inspection of it, even asked if I had any question what buttons did what inside the vehicle.   Upon return I dropped it off the night before my return, they have a key drop box, made it super simple.  Email me a receipt the next day, super easy!   I will use and recommend hertz from now on, I'm not sure what the bad reviews were about, but I feel if you take care of a rental I feel companies will take care of you.... I vacuumed, gave a quick wash down before returning (if someone borrowed my vehicle its what I would want).  Thank You Hertz in Beaufort!

The employees are usually so busy you don't really have an experience. Most of the time is spent waiting around or calling numbers back because their system flagged you for stealing a car that you clearly didn't steal.

Reserved a car online for 9am and went got there, I was told that a car would not be ready until 2 or 3pm. I should have been called in advance because I had to travel 40 minutes to get here. Go to Enterprise unless you have time to waste and don't have an itinerary.

I have been renting from Hertz in Beaufort for many years now and I have always had a good experience.  Everyone at Hertz is friendly and most helpful in getting me on my way as quickly as possible.

Had to wait a bit, but upgraded to Avalon at no extra cost. Very professional and friendly.
