My experience at Downtown Charleston was good. they picked us up at our hotel, gave us a decent car, were very courteous and helpful. Also took off the one way charge since I was dropping of the car at the airport. Which brings me to why I was getting the car downtown in the first place.
I had originally had a rental at the airport. Unfortunately our flight got delayed. I called Enterprise and told them about the delay and gave them the flight number. They told me they have someone at the airport with our car. Unfortunately there was no one from Enterprise at the airport, it was late. There was someone from Hertz. But no one from Enterprise.
So we had to take a cab to downtown and rent a room for thenight. That part of the experience was NOT good

Worst Enterprise I ever tried to use. My rental broke down and the very unfriendly Saturday Manager Mike didn't feel like helping me and just told me they have no cars. At the same time they gave out cars to people without having a reservation. I was send to the Charleston airport to get me a car.  If i could give 0 stars i would.

I made a reservation to pick up a car at this location and they ran out of cars.  The employee who I spoke to, Michael Board, told me I had to go to the airport to get a car which is 20 mins away.  I wasted time and money going there, was supposed to waste time and money to go to the airport and was paying an extra day specifically to not go to the airport but he did not seem to care.  Then I called the enterprise number for "reservation escalation" which is bad enough that they have this department since reservations should mean available cars and the Dimitri told me he can't really compensate me for anything and all he can do is file a complaint.  The result is I will never rent an enterprise car again and don't recommend it to anyone.  Oh and the only reason this branch gets one star is because 0 stars is not an option, they simply do not offer the service they are supposed to.

I was disappointed that it took 30+ minutes for the car to be ferried to downtown Charleston from Mt Pleasant.  But staff acknowledged the problem, comped me 1/2 tank of gas and gave me an extra couple of hours on the return.  All in all, a fair deal.  I'll use Enterprise again.

My contract was redone without my knowledge. I have yet to receive my deposit back. The local office wont respond nor answer my calls.  I want my deposit back and I'd like to know also why was my friend charged 35$ on his card for an additional day for the extension of my rental and I was charged 55.01$?.  Someone please call me back and explain my deposit,the 2 different contracts, my friends charge, and I turned the rental in on the 11 of January at 12:45. My time would have expired at1p.m. on the 11th.
