I normally have such great service from Enterprise.  However,  the last time I rented a car, it was backed up against a fence, so I ended driving off with expired registration and tags!  I didn't notice until the next day when I was opening the trunk.  I call Enterprise, who refused to pick it up or exchange it.  No current registration was in the vehicle either.  Enterprise did give me the option of returning it to a nearest Enterprise facility.
I immediately returned it to the Long Beach branch, speaking with a Marc Cooks, a Management Trainee.  Whatever his position, he should not be in customer service.  He offered little assistance stating that his branch did not rent the car, so he had no responsibility.  II could drop it off, but I would not get any receipt,, exchange etc.!!!  i HAD TO CALL THE ORIGINAL ENTERPRISE PICK UP LOCATION ON MY CELL PHONE, THEN HAVE THAT MANAGER EXPLAIN THE SITUATION, ON MY CELL PHONE.  Never experienced such degrading, in hospitable and non-caring attitude from Enterprise.  If Enterprise cannot keep registration current on their cars, they should not rent them.

The Enterprise team at the Marina del Rey location are great. They always take care of my rental needs. I rent from them several times a week, so I appreciate their great customer service.

Helpful service and quick. Was my first time and it was smooth.
Tip: reserve online. The corporate system is designed to give higher prices in store and cannot match. Don't worry though, you can do it on your phone while waiting in line!

There were no cars at several locations.  Some of the locations were honest and told me they didn't have cars and weren't getting returns.  One location even called me, after I had reserved a car, to say it would be hours before I would get a car and gave me the option of coming and waiting for a car that might not even show up. So I cancelled and called another location. The next location said they had cars so I reserved one, but when I got there 5 unhappy people were waiting in chairs before me. It took 2 hours before enough cars were returned so I could get to my business appointment.  None of us were given any information about the time estimate of how long the wait might be.
