Wasn't sure about using a company that I didn't know. But rented from MCar last weekend and it was great. Joe's shuttle from airport very straightforward; MCar office in ground floor of a hotel (actually looks like a good place to stay very close to the airport); all charges etc exactly as expected; pleasant staff. Just what you want in a rental car: no surprises.

Had my first experience renting from MCar. Very smooth in and out, clean car, friendly staff, very good rate. The only issue we had was with the shuttle service. Upon arrival, we stopped at the designated pickup area. We watched two of the Joe's parking shuttles pass us by without stopping. The signs are on the side of the shuttle so by the time you recognize it, it is passing you by. We had to flag down the third shuttle. Overall, satisfied.

Best experience we have ever had with a car rental company.  Walked in and had car within 5 minutes. Return was even quicker. Joe’s Shuttle was awesome too.

I had a great experience with MCar. The shuttle took us to their parking garage to and from the airport in LA. We waited a bit to get into the car, but nothing to bad. We were put into a nice Toyota Corolla that saved a bunch of gas. I forgot my daughters booster seat in the car and when I got to Oregon I called MCar. The gal that answered the phone was super helpful and worked with me on getting the booster seat back to me.  The price I got for the 4 days was great and low. Keep in mind that there is a a security deposit which is totally normal and it states it on the email reservation. There was a lady in front of us, hence the reason it took us a while to get into the car, she was arguing about the $200 security deposit.  I used my credit card for it and they returned my deposit within a day after I turned the car in. They also have a drop box for after hours drop off. They don't open until 7am and our flight was at 6am. I was able to drop the keys in the box and once the car was checked in they sent me and email receipt. Over all it was a good experience and I will definitely rent with them again.

I would recommend MCar to anyone visiting LAX. The shuttle was easy to find, the lady at the front desk was very nice and pleasant. Everything went smooth and no problems which is rare when renting cars.
