Bad customer service! I have never felt so discriminated against. I’ve been a customer for many years . I mistakenly went to this location on Friday where I was denied my rental, which I had reserved days in advance. Excuse after excuse from the the so called store manager. Never had an issue at the Hammond location. Poor customer service the kicker was when he laughed at me. Contacting the corporate office because reading the other reviews there is clearly a pattern. There where many issues with this visit 
1. Reservation was so called move to Highland without giving prior notice.
2. Reservation was made for 5:00pm . Got there at 5:15pm to find a dry-erase board that said “we will be back at 5:50pm.”
3. When showing a utility bill he said it was not acceptable because it had a balance. Had proof bill had 0 balance not good enough. It needed to show 0 balance, of course he knew the 0 balance wouldn’t show untill the next bill. Showed other bill that had a balance but was not past 30days still not sufficient. 
4. When using a credit card why are you asking for utilitie bills????!??!!
5. When questioned “why did you choose to send my reservation else where” he shouted cause you a had compact car” I had to tell him not to raise his voice at me. But he choose to close the location down to go pick up a car at another location for another customer. 

Asked him to call someone because he seemed unreasonable, he stated he was the store manager he had the final decision. Asked for corporate number he gave me district manager numbers. Apperantly corporate closes at 5.  The chuckle from this guy was the big kicker as I told him I will be contacting corporate.  
 An immediate response is expected, this should have never happened.

P.s To the Store manager of that location.
 I hope you enjoyed the hard time you gave me for no reason. I still carried out my plans.  There are other companies with great customer service.

Fast easy and great customer service. I thought today was going to be a bad day, but the representative does not understand the happiness he gave me today with just a smiling face. Thanks so much. I will definitely be renting here again.

Worst car rental experience of my life. And that is saying something, I'm 65 and have rented cars about 30 times. The body shop sent the Griffith, Indiana Enterprise an email asking them to call me regarding available cars, rates, etc. No they never called. By the time I realized that, it was Saturday afternoon and they were closed for the weekend. I went in Monday to pick up the car and complained about not be contacted. "Oh, that guy is on vacation", I was told. I was shown two cars, both were dirty, they had crumbs in between the seats and center console. Filthiest rental cars I've ever seen. The third was not as bad though the center console was dirty. I didn't have much of a choice. Either take the least dirty of the lot or go elsewhere. Had the employee  called me like he was supposed to I could have found out exactly what they had and maybe gone elsewhere if I didn't like the choices. Needless to say I will never go to Enterprise again. I called the customer service on the toll number and reported exactly waht happened. I told the person who I spoke too, if you're paying the ,manager and the cleaner anything at all, you're wasting your money.

Made reservations 2 months in advance and was denied because I had a debit card when the policy clearly stated debit cards was accepted.
