I went to this Hertz. on Ridge Indianapolis Boulevard. There was a guy who worked there when I came in he was very nice and courtesy. I had to wait for the car because the car they brought out wasn't that clean and I request for different car and he was very helpful and very respectful and courtesy... because they had to clean the car when it was a different time that when I made the arrangements for the car. So when I was done with the car came back 2 weeks later had to pay for my bill and there was a young lady behind the counter and the manager was standing behind her and there was a issue because it was a conflict with the time I let them know the time I left when I got the car because the guy had to clean the car. The manager was like yes we can look and pull up the camera from the time and she left out basically he was so rude and abrupt like he didn't trust and actually I wasn't even talking to him I was speaking to her I didn't even know he was the manager how Rudy wasn't disrespectful I think as a manager you need to be an example of your leadership in your role turn me off. But I decided to give him another chance I've been renting from Enterprise for years and I trying to buy a new car company. So I hope they will be nice next time I go in.

Really quick and easy service! I could not believe how fast it was! Not even 5 minutes! Very pleasant service and staff.

All was well, until I received the invoice. I had filled the gas tank just prior to turning the car in, gas gauge was above "Full". Invoice indicated 3/4 tank of gas. Turns out, car was driven 50 miles after I dropped it off,  triggering a $44 fuel service charge. I already take photos of cars after returning, to dispute any potential damage claims. Now I will include photos of instrument panel, indicating mileage and fuel quantity. Car was not returned directly to Hertz facility, making it difficult to point fingers. Hertz has verbally agreed to a refund. I have always had great service from Highland Hertz, so I am expecting a revised invoice soon.

Nov 23 Update: After 2 weeks: no communication, no refund. As I suggest above: Be prepared to defend yourself after returning a vehicle.

I picked my car up at the Highland,IN service area. The person that took care of me was polite and answered all of questions. My rental was ready and waiting for me upon arrival. I will definitely use this rental service again.

Excellent service - Friendly pickup at hotel and transport to rental lot.  Nice vehicle, just as expected.
